Can't knock the guy really, Man Utd through and through, supported them as a kid, proper manc, Won everything with them and knows he's now shit so needs to get the fuck out.

True as that is, he's always been shit. For as long as I've been watching football I've hated his attitude and play.. The definition of "thug".

Will be more sympathetic, appreciative when Scholes/Giggs calls it a day. That really will be a touching one.

I'd love to shave that pathetic little tash off of his. Why did he and Becks grow that daft facial hair around the same time and have kept it ever since. Looks ridiculous I thought they were just going through a phase.

ESPN seemed to enjoy showing it Saturday in a 'look there he is sitting outside..and now he's sitting inside'..

Yeh dont get that.Guess really couldnt see himself carrying on any furthur.Kinda sad but at the same time meh.Done what he's needed to and all that jazz

I don't feel any sadness,I just can't wait for Fergie and Wenger to retire,can't be too long now.

Anyway I was going to say,I think he's been a bit selfish in a way. I think he could have given something to the lower leagues ie played for his hometown club of Bury.

Now a days players have no need to drop divisions just to make ends meet though,and earn a bit extra to put away.
