Champions Vs Champions

Complacency killed the cat, as X-Rated let slip a 2-0 lead.

Term X's side now sit 2nd in the league on goal difference, as the two champions from last season fail to overcome each other, in a 2-2 stalemate. Terminator X gave us his view on the game in a post-match interview.

Terminator X: "Right off the bat, Cfc-meleady failed to predict my line up, by man-marking who he thought would be the lone striker. This assumption was based on my last game. The pressure we put on them in the first half came back to bite us. We became tried, and made mistakes in vital moments. This is the first game I've ever had a draw as a manager, and it won't be happening again."

Steve's XI go Top of the Table!

Drogba United 1-4 Steves XI

After a convincing 4-1 away win, Steve's XI has now gone 1 point clear on top of the TC Championship. Steve was very confident going into the new season with some big name signings. Now after 3 games played there was good reasoning for it.

Steve's XI took the lead after 4 minutes with a Walter Squire Goal, and quickly took control of the game. After 16 minutes a goal was disallowed for Steve's XI after the Lines man called for offside, Wrong Decision. Elvis Hodge hit the crossbar in the 38th minute and almost got an equaliser for Drogba United.

End of First Half

Home - Away

Goals 0-1

Chances 1-5

Possession 44% - 56%

With not much happening for the first 7 minutes of the second half Val Morgan was injured and was replaced by Peyton Feeney. Patrick Burbage put Steve's XI 2-0 up in the 53rd minute with a curling shot into the bottom corner. 2 Minutes later Ken Cole put a screamer away for Drogba United. Back and forth and again straight from kick off Walter Squire curls another shot into the bottom corner and put Steve's XI 3-1 up. Alf Naples puts the sealer on a great victory for Steve's XI with an 86th minute goal.

End of Game

Home - Away

Goals - 1 - 4

Chances - 2-9

Possession - 46% - 54%

Man of the Match - Alf Naples
