Steve 10,227
Coleman is a very good player! Would love to see him join us. His foot work is very good and is good defending.
LDN Blue 7,903
Mirror Football linking us to Micah Richard for £20million.. Oh how I wish this were true (not for £20mill though)
5354 204
20m is too much.I think a 10m Premier League proven defender will assist us.
LDN Blue 7,903
Agreed, but (if it was true) I'm sure City would try and make us pay the maximum
Cameron 30
Winger and striker.
5354 204
A striker and winger is deperately needed!I will say 40m is the budget we should work around to get 3 players.

True_Blue 469
I would bring in a winger that can play on both sides and a player similar to Kaka which has brains to help out Lampard in the midfield. And i would also bitch slap our attackers apart from Sturridge to wake up and start performing. Grandmaster 2
Seriously need someone to create chances, Lampard on his day is the best in the business, but now becoming injury prone, and when hes out, there is very little thereAlso think the strike force is looking jaded, a quality striker to come in for Anelka, or even just to provide a bit of competition would be ideal
Kostas 1,468
17 days in January and we still haven't signed anyone despite a couple reported bids.Anything less than two new players will be a crime.
LDN Blue 7,903
Well at least we know there's intent. It seems our only real deal that's being negotiated (in the eyes of the media) is Pienaar's, even though Carlo's gone on record saying we need a centre back.I wouldn't be surprised if we only really end up with Pienaar - or no-one. Kostas 1,468
Intent is not good enough, there was plenty of it in the summer and we even spent £30 m yet went on to have to worst season since Roman took over. The reassuring this is that the media don't know much about Chelsea's deals. During the summer they had Abramovich flying with his chopper to bid 80m for Torres and in the end all our deals came out of no-where. I'm just hoping the next deal is going to be a positive surprise.
Peace. 4,352
I wouldn't be surprised if we buy no one, since according to CA : we only have had a 'bad moment', we are back on track and 'Drogba has had a good game against Blackburn'.... Kostas 1,468
Bosingwa's contract expires in the summer, even we wouldn't pay 9m for a free agent.Oh and neither Neymar nor Lukaku are going nowhere in January.
LDN Blue 7,903
No way will Bruce sell Gyan. Plus I prefer him at Sunderland to be honest.. He's a good fit.Myhill, I agree he'd be a decent #2, good call. We'd have to wait regarding Phil Jones. He looks to be out for the season, not sure if we'd take the gamble. Though it should dramatically lower his fee.
Madmax 9,219
We need a non-African forward if we're going to get one. As it is Drogba and Kalou will be at ACON in Jan-Feb.

LDN Blue 7,903
Our philosophy at the end of the season was, because a lot of players were at the end of their contracts, to change our way and to give opportunity to the young players to grow from the Academy.'This was the reason and now we can't come back to say, ah, we had players with experience. Our philosophy was to put more young players in and now we have to wait to see if we had a good idea or a bad idea - but we were agreed to change this direction.
