Absolute bollocks for the vastly expanded (to 48 teams) 2026 World Cup finals

UEFA only gets 3 new slots and no teams in the playoffs for the last 2 spots. so only 16 slots, locked in

South America which has 10 members total, gets 6 spaces plus a slot in the playoffs, so 70% of their teams could end up in the finals, only 3 teams would miss out (true fucking madness, wtf)

Africa CAF is almost doubled (and could be fully doubled) they get 9 spots, plus can get a 10th in the playoffs. Senegal, the current African champions, are only 20th in the world atm

North and Central America/Caribbean are doubled to 6 spots, and could be more than doubled (7) via the payoffs (true madness, absolute joke teams will now get in, imagine Curaçao in, and no Portugal or Croatia, lol) , and the Yanks are basically guaranteed a spot every WC from now on, going back in time, they never would have missed a finals with this many slots)

Asia is doubled to 8, and could have NINE via the playoffs (true madness, gift to the barbarous Middle East despots)

OCEANIA, ffs (basically New Zealand plus a tonne of pure shit micro island states) even is now guaranteed a spot every WC (and can grab another via the playoffs, if somehow NZ fucks up, but snags a playoff spot, granted that is very unlikely) The pool is New Zealand, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Tahiti, Fiji, Vanuatu, American Samoa, Tonga, Samoa (true madness, New Zealand must be laughing their asses off)
