It wasn't a sitter, but it was a fantastic pass from Fabergas and Torres controlled the ball wonderfully but missed it wide from the edge of the box. I think he was trying to curl it into the corner but couldn't quite bend it so it looked like a bad miss. He played well enough if a bit isolated. Obviously with the MF that Spain has, Torres never has to drop deep for the ball so he doesn't get a lot of touches. There were a few crosses and passes that didn't reach him.

Spain was dominant in the 2nd half. I hope VB sees how much better Spain is without the double pivot and just plays Cesc or Iniesta in the MF. Those two saved VB today.

It was weird that Torres ended the game with the captain's armband. When Xavi left, Ramos got it. But somehow Torres ended up with it even though Ramos was still in the game.

Yes, the end was embarrassing, especially for a 'friendly'. Busquets as usual was an idiot. Did you see him charging in? Torres as captain should have stepped in more to keep it calm. He was keeping the peace but in his typical low key way.

Mata didn't come on. Maybe he will play on Tuesday. I expect Llorente to start as CF since he didn't play today and Torres to sub on if needed. That game is an Euro qualifier so only 3 subs will be allowed.

Too keep in mind Mata is a relative newcomer to the NT and one of the younger ones. He's a little further down the pecking order for Spain.

It's so boring and dis coordinated that is no longer worth watching.

Club football is the best, and CL the best competition in the world.

International is just played more for the pride of the country, then a true spectacle as you witness in the CL.
