I think Neymar would be use more as of a left winger then a striker. If he comes the one who will most likely loose time is Malouda or Yury. So if Neymar comes, one will go.

You think?.. Oh, well that's that then...

Either way.. He's an attacker, end of. Thus adding to what would be a long list.

For Brazil that is how he is playing as a left winger.

So most likely he will play that spot in Chelsea if he where to come, taking over Malouda spot.

For those of you who have me on Facebook/MSN you all know that Neymar has been my favorite non-Chelsea player since almost 3 years :) Been following him since ever... and started telling people about him way before.. and there are numerous reasons why he will come, and why we are going to get him... :) Ahhh I'm loving this. And if you lot have any questions on him, let me know. :)

Back to 4-3-3

Ivan - Luiz - Terry - Cole

Ramires - Essien/Mikel - Lamps

Sturridge - Torres - Neymar

We're still missing a creative midfielder and I don't think Sturridge is good enough to warrant a place in that Chelsea team. Could potentially see Ramires replacing Lampard long term as our attacking central midfielder and gradually easing Josh into the team as a playmaker. Would like Pastore though :P.

Apparently, he's not leaving until 2014. Santos made a plan for him, that has a goal to help him become the best player in the world. Or at least get a nomination for fifa's best in the world, while playing in brazil. He also wants to stay there until the world cup.

We only talk about strikers/wingers. In reality we need a creative midfield maestro, winger, CF and want it or not - let some 30+ aged players go. I'm sure we'll see radical changes, that's how businessmen like Abramovic work.

Lukaku, Hamsik, Sanchez, Neymar, are some of the players i would love to see come to the club. Lukaku is the future Drogba, the perfect replacement as well. Hamsik is the kind of attacking minded midfeilder that we need, and Neymar and Snache are the wingers we need for the 4-3-3 to work.

question is , what style of football do we want to play buy Lukaku and he will be simular to Drogba or do we go for the fast pacy strikers e.g Neymar , it all depends on how we want to set up. exciting times...

The problem with buying only pacey strikers or only big, powerful strikers is that sometimes you'll need the other, the key is to have a mix for me.

We have that with Drogba and Torres, the problem is that they are both the main man, we need Neymar or Lukaku to play the supporting role if they are to come.

How do you know that's what he said. Is there a source that says it at all??

It's just that the last article I read about Neymar, he said he would prefer to move to Italy.

Well nothing about Loving Chelsea but he did say it is a dream for him to play for Chelsea and he would consider an offer from Chelsea this year. The link is already posted from someone else.

I agree everything apart from Lukaku because we've got Torres and Sturridge to fill CF spot if needed

Hit the nail right on the head.

As good as Lukaku could be and no matter how effective Drogba-type strikers are I understand that both Abramovich and Carletto want to move away from the old "boring, boring Chelsea" and to achive that we'll have to get forwards with a different style of play.
