Badboy 1,526
loooooooooool the best right back in the EPL can't deal with quick players Brani was torn apart in the community shield by nani, bellamy tore him apart when city beat us 4-2 last season and he was completley out paced by Samuel eto'o in the championsleague last season. Our record against man city away from home is not great at all, they always come out and attack us with speed and pace. We must identify danger players such as johnson, toure, silva and tevez, and deny them space, ramires can cope with the threat johnson posse's us, and i can guarantee you a.cole will not be blindly bombing forward in this game like he did against blackpool. If you watch the man city chelsea game last season, yes mikel had a horror show but bellamy kept sprinting past ivan like he was not even there. One thing i hate is when our defenders are running back towards our own goal, if a quick player like johnson spins into the space behind ivan that will be very dangerous because a hyper active tevez will be buzzing in the box. I just think ivan could be targeted by the man city coaching staff, after all ivan has the natural agility of a centre back which is what he really is ! Milan 17,958
Can't wait for this clash. Hopefully we will smash them and give away those two losses from the last season. Joe Hart will be a big test for our strikers.

BlueLion. 21,491
Frank being out of this one is probably a good thing. I'm not criticising him because in my eyes he is the best midfielder on the planet. I just get the feeling this is going to be a very physical game, and we're certainly going to need the pace and energy of Essien, Mikel and Ramires.I think we'll see this:P. CechIvan, Alex, Terry, ColeMikelEssien, RamiresAnelka, Drogba, MaloudaMainly because with Benayoun and Kalou out, these are our only options Bench: Turnbull, Ferreira, van Aanholt Bruma, Josh McEachran, Zhirkov, Sturridge.I've just realised actually how small our squad is... DYC. 7,542
I've just realised actually how small our squad is... Finally !Just look at our options with just four players out. Injuries will probably be the main reason for any failures this season.

Agree about the starting and the bench players. Our squad is small but so so strong, to have Lampard, Kalou, Bosingwa, Kakuta and Benayoun out and field a team that strong we can't really complain.
