It doesn't relieve your stress, your blood cells carry CO instead of O2 due to which you don't respire well and you have little energy. That's why you think you are relaxed, it's terrible and not only are you affecting yourself but people around you.

So many people die because they are passive smokers (as a matter of fact I think more non-smokers die due this than smokers)

I believe and agree with you.. I was planning on stopping this summer but I didn't do it, then college started and it's even worse now

Well, just my two cents, but if you won't stop for you then think of your loved ones. For the last 10 years I have watched COPD and emphysema slowly killing my father. I have watched as day by day his ability to breathe decreases and his ability to even simple tasks (walk up a flight of stairs, take a shower, etc) gets harder. I also watch my mother watch him and worry if he catches a cold if this will. Be the one that kills him or not, because that could be all it takes is a simple common cold and because he has so little lung capacity he could die.
