National curriculum started the year after I left High School. Up until that point Queensland had one of the worst and least organised education system in Australia. Before the national curriculum, it was up to the teachers to decide everything. They had to create the assignments, they had to decide what was learnt. Queensland had the worst standardised test scores in Australia. To top it all off I went to one of the worst schools in the worst state for education of Australia. Where I am right now, is because of natural intelligence and a few good teachers. I'm a pretty clever fellow but I can only imagine that I'd be much smarter if I had actually went to decent school.

Well it's taboo so a part of you will like the idea. I'll read that later. But how can it be a taboo due to evolution when it was common practice a mere few thousand years ago? Very much documented in ancient Greece and Egypt. It is part of many ancient religions. Even Christianity, if humanity started from Adam and Eve having sex and kids, then how did all the human race expand if those kids didn't have sex with each other or with their parents?
