Amateur question, but who exactly are the lions I keep reading about and what sport do they play?

Lions are a combination of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (made up of those countries' players) . They are a rugby team that go on tour (every four years) and have just beaten Australia, so, as an Englishman, I am quite chuffed.

Is this part of some competition or just a tour they make? Lebanon almost made it to the rugby world cup the last time. France just edged past us on goal difference (not sure if they call it "goal difference" )

Just a tour every 4 years where they play test matches in a dedicated country (this year is Australia). It's not like a cup competition or anything, though.

I shoot Nikon, so dont know my way around canon lenses.

Id maybe combine the T2 with an 18-200. Problem: it is 699 dollars. Also how much zoom and for what? I rarely go over 300.

Do yourself a favour and buy the nifty fifty. Learn with that. On a DSLR with GOOD glass .... Dont go any other way.

Get that cam and buy them a sigma or Tamron zoom. Tamron 18-200 is only 170 euro here.

Here it's like 500$

Also the camera body is like 600$ (the T2i) so overall it'll be like 1100$ which is way too expensive..

The problem is also that I'm not quite sure how much I'm gonna use it... there aren't too many beautiful views or anything around here and plus I'll be in the army in like a year, and then there won't be any time to use it.
