Amblève. 4,995
I just completed my second year, so have one more to go! What about you? How long will yours take? You're almost done haha (...I'm feeling jealous )4 years, usually. Depends on whether I'll do a semester (or even a year) in Strasbourg or not. If I do my uni here in Austria might not count that studying time (law unis here are a bit weird when it comes to these kinda things). Still a long way to go as I haven't even started Do you plan on staying in Singapore or maybe moving abroad? I mean you're young, surely you wanna see more of our world, no? I plan on getting out of here at least for a couple of years to work and explore! My current university degree is awarded by the University of London (it's an international programme) so I've been looking into master's programmes in the UK, etc. Not sure if I'll be able to get a job in the UK simply with this current bachelor's degree. But I'm thinking of working here in Singapore for a year here first to get some experience before starting all of that. You? You sure you don't wanna go to NY and become an evil Wall Street banker? With law it's a bit tricky. Most nations have their very own judicial system which makes it a bit tough to get a work permission in the branch of law in some other country, especially in countries whose system is based on case law. It also really depends on on which part of law you focus (you know, human rights, family law, financial law etc.) as some of them are more international.I'd like to leave Austria when I finish studying. Maybe Berlin or the UK as well, but I don't really know where right now. Thankfully I'm not yet in that situation
OneMoSalah 8,886
Done my maths exam, no exams until the 4th now! YayOnly problem is I think I did a bit shitty in the non calculator part of the exam but the calculator part was relatively easy.

Is the non-calculator part the first one of the exam or do they take your calculators at some point from you away when you have to do the non-calculator part? OneMoSalah 8,886
What was the non-calculator part about?Just a mix of questions, standard deviation, area of sectors, length of arcs, finding angles using the sin rule, quadratics, substituting equations and more shite along that lines. Hahahaha I was always terrible at doing anti's throughout the year good thing there was only one question like that! (I think?) hahaha--In other news, I'm suffering from senioritis and currently have 3 C's and a D in my classes......Gotta get shit in order before my ma sees that! Could have been worse though. Imagine you had to calculate the antiderivative of e^(x-3)*2 or some shit like that Is that how you call it in English? In Portuguese, we say 'integrate'! LmaooooI fucked up such an AD task in my final exam too, lol. I'm still hoping I made it somehow and will get a 4. Really can't ask for more.If there's one advice I can give to you it's to study and get good grades. Always. You won't learn anything relevant to the real life at school, I know that, but it makes life so much easier if you don't have to pray to get through after every exam.Being a senior means you still have 1 year left? Amblève. 4,995
Is that how you call it in English? In Portuguese, we say 'integrate'! There's integrals too. Difference between those two is that an AD is indeterminate. Rmpr

Hahaha And lmaooo nah I'm only a sophomore,, im just acting like a senior (in it that I'm doing absolutely nothing cuz we're gonna be done soon) but i still got 2 more painful years left till im off to college. Jype 6,398
Is that how you call it in English? In Portuguese, we say 'integrate'! Same here. Would assume it's okay to use either of them in English.Always clueless when discussing mathematics in English, learnt them all quite well in Finnish but the languages are way too different and most of the time I haven't got the slightest of idea on what the English counterpart for some mathematical stuff is. Should change soon though, starting from September most of our maths and physics at the uni are taught in English so I guess I'll learn at least some of the basics then.
