@manpe, you seem to understand about phones...

I am thinking of buying a state of the art smartphone next year (In Brazil those things are expensive, so it is a long time planning just to buy a simple phone). Should I buy an IPhone 5 or a Galaxy S3?

I Know that by the time I buy it, it will not be the best one, but where I live things get a little late anyway.

Gadgets I have: New Vaio and Ipad2, got both for College. I have a dumbphone right now...

It's a matter of preference really. iPhone is a little bit smoother. But since S3 is getting an update to Jelly Bean, it will become a bit smoother too. You have to also think would you like a really large display (S3 at 4.8 inches) or a smaller one (iPhone at 4 inches).

If you're planning on buying next year, then I personally would wait either for HTC One X+ (should come out this month), LG Optimus G or LG Nexus 4. Getting a Nexus has an advantage, because those devices with Google branding get firmware updates the earliest, manufacturer specific devices usually take many months to roll out stable releases + they come with a lot of junk, which you can remove only when rooted.

Thanks Mate, the thing is....Next year those phone wont have arrived in Brazil. You gotta understand my situation. For instance, IPhone 5 arrived last month in USA for U$199, in Sao Paulo, it will arrive in December for R$1990 (U$900) - it is unllocked though. I am asking just to get an opinion really, I have enough time to decide, since I am planning to buy in Jan/Feb 2013.

Yeah @Manpe is right its all down to individual preference. if you just search i phone 5 vs Samsung galaxy S3 there are loads of sites.

From a quick glance it seems most of the Tech experts slightly favour the I-phone then in the comments the majority of people say how they are all Apple fan boys lol. So i am sure whichever you pick you will be extremely pleased. If you don't want to wait i think you can buy international versions of the phones, however they wouldn't be on a contract or anything, but i am obviously not an expert on brazil so don't take my word on that.

I wanted to hear from someone who is not involved with the media. I am a little deluded with articles, I always think product reviews are bought to favor one side.

The wait is quite good actually, I will have time to save money (wich I dont have right now)! I also want voice command to be in portuguese. You will be amazed, but we dont have contracts here. Well, we do, but you can break it anytime for free. That is why all the phones sold here are unlocked.

Actually there are evidence that a man named Jesus did exist at that time. Whether he had superhuman abilities is something that is up for debate. Same with Muhammad, except he is seen only as an Islam missionary who claimed to have been following orders from God himself.

Jesus existed. That itself does not tell anything about the Bible or his miracles.

There is 100% certainty in the Academic Community that Jesus Christ was a real human beeing that lives 2k years ago. Whether he was Son of God, an Extraordinary Human Beeing or just a regular popular guy is for each one to belive in what they think is true.

I personally am agnostic ( Stay out of the way of arguments whilst leaving some doubt in case i am wrong in not believing). Though tbh it just seems unlikely to me. Though obviously everyone has the right to believe what they want. In my personal opinion i think that being a moral person is more important than being a religious person, even though they often share similar characteristics.
