BlueLion. 21,491
Yes, I agree with you, our soldiers all fought for the same cause. As a military historian I appreciate the fact that the eastern front may well have been utterly surrendered without the contribution of the Armia Krajowa. For people who aren't aware of the Polish heroism of World War Two, this article on Wikipedia gives a very brief overview of their incredible resistance. Remember the Poles faced the full brunt of a co-ordinated attack through Germany, Slovakia but also Soviet Russia as part of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. The Polish armies never stood a chance, but their heroism in the final onslaught on Berlin is one of the most famous sacrifices in military history.Long live the glorious dead. Kujamowicz 16
Wow, BlueLion, I'm really impressed. It's always nice to hear that any foreigner knows something about your own country history. I think we would easily find a common topic, as personally I also am interested in history. And, if anybody could help me solve my problem, I'd appreciate- the day is coming. Which one to go to?Gotta be Valencia, that could be a top place decider if we dont get a result in Germany.....plus any Spanish side will look to win the game, so it will be open.Dalgleish has already said he will not be playing a strong side and u know he will go 4-5-1, looking for the 1-0 win.. warnie_666 1,081
I have a dilemma:Last night I saw this absolute stunner at a bar. She was a head turner. Every guy at the bar was checking her out. My friend then joins me at the bar and tells me that he met a chick at A hotel this evening and she said she will be at this bar. And he goes looking for her. Next thing I know is he comes back with the stunner I first saw. She's a brunette Russian 5,8 and a smashing good body. But a very down to earth girl and level headed girl with no attitude. My frd is a jackass and a player but without brains as he tried to be all flirty and touchy with er inspite of her telling us that she hates players. I tried to tell him that you need to go slow with her. I on the other hand was being a gentleman. This chick after an hour totally unimpressed with my player friend hands me a tissue with her phone number while my frd is looking elsewhere completely unaware of it.Later my frd all drunk hooks up with another girl right infront of this Russian stunner. And she got so pissed at him as she felt insulted. Before leaving she told me to give her a call.In short: the girl my jackass frd got to the bar likes me and I like her while my frd who humiliated her is completely unaware.Dilemma: would you consider it wrong if I was to date this chick? I hope my friend doesn't think I pulled off a highway robbery.
