Badboy 1,526
Chelsea attacker Gael Kakuta believes he has nothing to feel guilty about following his controversial transfer from Lens. The 19-year-old Frenchman moved to Stamford Bridge back in 2007, although the Ligue 1 club were outraged at his switch to the Premier League.Lens claimed the player's move was in breach of his contract and last year Fifa banned Kakuta from playing for four months and barred Chelsea from making any signings in the next two transfer windows. The sanctions were subsequently rescinded following an appeal from the Blues to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, ruling that he did not have a legitimate contract with Les Sang et Or despite spending eight years with the club.Kakuta does not believe he did anything wrong regarding his transfer, and does not feel guilty. He told L'Equipe: "I was calm. I had nothing to feel guilty about. "I couldn't care less. I went on working. That is football, you know."Skysports Edited July 21, 2010 by Badboy

Steve 10,227
He has no reason to feel guilty. He signed for one of the biggest clubs in the world. All he should be doing is focusing on football and making a name for himself!
Jon 18
What's done is done, no use regretting or feeling guilty. Time to show everyone why Chelsea wanted you...

Kez 2,727
He did nothing wrong all he has to do now was prove that he was worth it.
gary gordon 1,777
Honestly, I hope we get to unleash him this season. We really need a player with his style in the squad. His quick footwork and attack inside the box could prove very valuable against stubborn defence.
TrueChelseaBlue 105
he's a real talent, gonna be a real gem of a player. if we can let him play quite a few games this season i'll be very pleased. and Gael's got absolutely nothing to be sorry or guilty for. Swoopz 183
With all this Kakuta talk, you guys are really setting the bar high, as far as my expectations are concerned. Is he really THAT good to be named among players such as Messi, Ronaldo, and Henry?
BomTrett 50
Not yet AT all. But he could be, he's got a lotta promise. I remember first seeing him in the FA Youth cup a coupla years back and i was just thinking to myself, he's amazing. But i dont think maybe he's ready to be starting or given the number 10 shirt (i wonder who said that...) but he's certainly ready to be on the bench more often and making appearances for 10-20 minutes if need be CERTAINLY starting in the earlier rounds of the League Cup, chelsea never seem to take advantage of the league cup 'policy' for the big clubs to play youth players. But i'm glad he's got no guilt, he shouldnt feel guilty at all, he did nothing wrong. Manuf 1,448
With all this Kakuta talk, you guys are really setting the bar high, as far as my expectations are concerned. Is he really THAT good to be named among players such as Messi, Ronaldo, and Henry?Because he really is great. I know that YouTube makes every player look good but go there and check out his skills. I personally love what he did to 4 Man Utd players, his appearance vs Wolverhampton or his recent goal vs Netherlands. I recommend you to watch U-19 Championship and you'll see that he's at least class above other players.
warnie_666 1,081
Chelsea striker Gael Kakuta is winning great praise in France with the nation's U19 European Championship team.Kakuta was outstanding in their 4-1 victory over Holland and was watched by new France coach Laurent Blanc."Frankly, I did not know he was there," said Kakuta. "Of course, it's nice that he came, but for us the most important thing is to win this Euro. That's what we're here for! And then we must also prepare ourselves for the World Championships scheduled next year."I was born in France, playing for the Blues, I've always dreamed about." Term-X 7,891
His contract runs out in the summer of 2011 and that must be resolved asap. The contract of Kakuta is the most important, considering his age and what he can potentially bring to the club in the future.Man-city could offer him the world and everything in it if we leave it until the last minute. kwylino 329
I would look out more for real madrid they will offer more than earth for him
EskWeston 696
Would be surprised if the club are not sorting something out for him now, or even have something sorted and it will be announced once he is back. Bearing in mind he hasn't been back at the club yet since the summer break.
BlueLion. 21,491
We should offer him a five-year deal as soon as the team get back from Germany, as far as I'm concerned. He's one of the biggest prospects in European football at the moment and we have to secure his future.
