Wilson 358
So who's friends off the pitch? I know Lampsy and JT are. And I have heard Drogba and Anelka are?
Term-X 7,891
i'm sure they are all friends to some degree, when your being paid a shit load of money to do what you love it's hard not to get along. ....although malouda & drogba spend time together outside the training ground, i remember reading an interview and malouda was talking about being in drogba's house and didier showing him pictures of the jose' title winning years. Wilson 358
Yeah, I know lol. Just I hear a lot about it. Dunno why I am bothered but there are players on some teams that dont get along at all lol. It's just cool to see players have a bond of the pitch. gary gordon 1,777
I can honestly say that Chelsea's squad looks alot more like a family than any other... Ballack and Drogba look to be very close friends...

BlueLion. 21,491
The goalkeepers and Christophe are all really, really close and I know Zhirkov and Ivan have spent a lot of time together because Ivan is teaching him English.

Kostas 1,468
I've always thought Kalou was close to Didier, they're both from Ivory coast so they got more things to share, same for our french speaking players like Essien and Malouda.I Remember reading a bit about Drogba taking Kakuta under his wing

Kostas 1,468
Yet another reason to admire DD.Didn't Essien run towards Mikel after his wondergoal against the Catalans last year? I guess they're close too. Edited May 21, 2010 by Kostas
Wilson 358
Yeah, Didier can be a pain in the ass sometimes but as Lampsy said, he does it for the interest of the team and he is just hungry lolol! Love that though. But credit to Ballack doing the right thing, just ignoring him lol! Yeah, Drogs is a great role model, I heard he is also doing a lot with Kalou to help him. When Scolari got sacked he named Drogba and Ballack as the prime culprits. You don't go through something like that with people you don't trust. Also if you look at nearly everytime Drogba scores. Ballack is always one of if not the first to run over and Congratulate him. About the Contracts, That's not up to the players. But i can guarentee Ballack will be in a Chelsea Jersey next season.. You can mark my words... He's worth more to the club as a Poster boy than a player. He sells jerseys, therefore he stays...
