Mário César 1,251
I absolutely disagree with Henrique about Kakuta. What would you expect? He's doing his first games and it's normal that he still hasn't showed details. He's not going to go past half a team and score. Don't demand something like that to Gael. He knows what people expect of him and that may affect his performance in the pitch. There are plenty of examples of it. Look at Cristiano Ronaldo. He arrived at United in 2003 and only in 2006 it started to be one of the best in the world. Until then, he was growing as a player and adapting. Now he is what he is.Another example is Nani. He's on United since 2007 but only now he's being truly important for them. You need patience. And only in a few years from now you'll realize the great player he is. Ignorance is bliss for people like Henrique. Even if one day Kakuta wins the Ballon d'Or, that would still not be enough for the likes of him. As long as people like you recognise the potential talent, well, it's all good then :chelsea2:
chrismada9 1,948
Arsenal have achieved nothing with their so called academy products, Song, Nasri and Fabregas aside they are full of mediocre players that were once prospects but would never get into ours or ManUtd's first 11, Ramsey and Wilshere are promising but that's all they are.Fair enough! But how do you think they're able to keep themselves at the top half of the table?? Competing and Qualifying in the Champions League?? Imagine if you take out all the Chelsea superstars, Terry, Cech, Lampard, Essien, Drogba etc, all you had to work with was the youngsters... what would be the outcome?? (bearing in mind that they've not had much of a chance to prove themselves because of us having to use all of these superstars)
