okay i am reopening this thread because i feel we really need major changes ...... yes we should support all the players and all the team members but we should analyze and find the errors and our mistakes to work on it ......

from what i ve seen we will see some new faces in our squad next team as we need to and we have to ...... but lets start by who should leave and who shouldnt .......

there are some players who must leave and i will not even waste my and your time explaining why as we all know why they are belleti ferrera and deco

joe cole will be next ... the guy cant even count as a football player anymore he cant get a place in any team in the epl with his form .....

kalou no impact no influence no reason no real will no real power no reason to keep him in the team

anelka is not a bad striker but he is an awful winger so unless carlo is planning on keeping him as a sub for drogba he should leave as well but i know thats not gonna happen ....

ballack he is not the same anymore but he has great awareness and tactical skills so i would love him to stay for next year but stay on the bench and get someone to replace him in the starting eleven ....

mikel i would love to see him next to ballack on the bench and get some time every now and then to help him improve but untill he is mature and good enough to play for Chelsea dont want him in the start up line ... he is a good cover for essien as well

now we are out of the ucl so we just have epl games so i would love to see kakuta borini sturridge and maticgetting some playing time to be prepared to get more regular playing time next season specially matic and kakuta .....

aguero right now is essential we have no attacking solutions right now we need someone with his pace and sharpness he will have a great influence .......

we need someone to replace ballack someone with fresh legs who keeps running around in the midfield without stopping like fletcher does for man utd ..... that guy may be hamsik ..

so i would like to see our start up line for next year : cech ivanovic/bosingwa carvahlo/alex terry a.cole essien hamsik lampard malouda aguero and drogba ....

with ballack mikel and matic as covers for midfield please i dont wanna see belleti and deco there next year .... and kakuta anelka sturridge and borini covers for our front line ... and our defence line is the best in europe we dont need any changes there .....

also some creativity in midfield if carlo is planning on using the diamond again ribery will be very useful and can be used as a winger as well

Mikel - personally, I think he is too lazy to play as a holding midfielder and doesnt offer the team half as much as Essien does

Malouda - Wingers need pace and quick feet, he has neither

In:

Shawcross - a promising young centreback

Muamba - another solid defender

Thank fuck you're not the manager!

And as for Asenjo/Neuer/Adler - they all play first team football, with real chances of being great great goalkeepers. They wont come and sit on the bench behind Petr.

Ballack and Joe out, Hamsik and Ribery in. Simple.

Lol, not suprised to see this thread get going again......

If we are going to play 4-3-3 then we need to do it properly with wingers, Anelka doesn't want to play that role and he doesn't do it well enough either. The players also who are here to coast till the end of their contracts/careers need to be moved on, Ancelotti and Roman really need to do something this summer.

If Roman isn't willing to put the money in to properly freshen the squad up then Ancelotti needs to REALLY give the kids a go. Kakuta, Stoch and Matic are not average players they can make a difference and they should be allowed to show that. If we are going to go into next season with basically the same 11 then we may as well pack it in now.

The reason I suggest Shawcross and Muamba is for cover for Terry/Alex/Ivanovic.

I agree with Ballack and Cole out, Hamsik and Ribery in. I'd also keep an eye on Aguero.

So what would everyones ideal starting XI be for next season?

Why on earth would you want Shawcross or Muamba as cover for the centre backs when we have already one of the most talented young centre backs in world football in Bruma at the club, and top options in Mancienne and Hutchinson?

Players like Hamsik, Ribery and Aguero are exactly the sort of players we need to be looking at. Although we have a habit of stunting a players creativity, just look at Zhirkov, dubbed the Russian Ronaldinho and we are playing him at left back......

All i want to see us do is to inject some creativity, and also to use the talented young players we have. Sturridge, Kakuta, Stoch, Matic, Cork, Bruma.... all very top class players, but they are not going to progress unless we play them. Kakuta impressed massively when given first team chances and since then he hasn't been given a sniff..

I can see Mancienne being involved with the first team squad next season, not too sure how much game time he will get though, as CA hasnt seemed to have used many of the younger players this season. I agree, Hutchinson, Bruma, Mancienne, Matic, Kakuta and Sturridge are all great prospects, but will they be given game time by CA??

I can see 1 or 2 going out on loan next season. I would really like these players to be given a chance, but CA seems to like playing it safe with his experienced first team back ups (Kalou, Belletti etc).

Ancelotti doesnt have the guts to play other players i guess. Seen this for years at Milan where he did the same thing with his players. It hasnt come as a surprise that Milan is drastically bringing in young players since the summer. We also should be looking at our youngster first and AFTER THAT, if they don't seem to suffice/be good enough for the first team, look at new players from other clubs!

Carlo went through a phase when the young players got some game time, and that was very pleasing to see, especially as they all aquitted themselves well and showed what they can offer. The problem is with the injuries and the problems we are having Ancelotti has chosen to go with the experience of Ballack rather than give a chance to Matic or Kakuta, and he has prefered to stick with Anelka rather than give Sturridge or again Kakuta a chance. Both Ballack and Anelka have put in some poor displays lately and i can see the logic on continuing to play players who are not producing just because the next option happens to be a 19,20, 21 year old....

Yeah I can see where CA is coming from sticking with the experienced players albeit frustrating to watch the likes of Anelka & Ballack not producing game after game. I would love to see players like Bruma/Kakuta/Matic etc getting games, but we cant afford to make mistakes with so much left to play for.

Lets hope some of these youngers get a good pre season under their belt and give CA something to think about, I would like to see a youthful side play in the Carling Cup as well personally.

What we have seen of Kakuta so far has been top draw, albeit from the bench when we are 3/4-0 up.

For these youngsters to get games we need rid of the dead wood at the club, and I'm not sure thats something that CA is keen on :(

Experience counts for nothing if they can't produce on the pitch in my opinion.

Well thats the real question, will Carlo do a clearout? With roumers of new contracts for Ballack and Anelka it doesn't seem like they are looking to refresh the squad much at all. Deco will go, as will Belletti. Will any others? I am not convinced.

I'm not sure why we should get rid of Belletti.

He hasn't set a foot wrong whenever we needed him(except that City game)and is a great solution whenever we need a utility player.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Joe Cole is useless, these days even Kalou(FFS) looks like a better player than him.I don't know any top team who would keep a player who contributes as little as Joe.

I also think Ballack is getting too much hate,he looks to me more hungry than Lampard and has as many good games as he did,yet he's always one of the first to blame

I think it was (painfully) quite obvious to see that we lack creativity in the midfield and real pace up front. If we had Sneijder at our side, we would be the team to reach the quarter finals. Ooh well, lets hope that this is a lesson for Ancelotti and Abramovich.

We do really need more youth and creativity in this team if we are ever going to win the CL and the PL for that matterHilario, Fereirra, Belleti, Deco really need to move on. I dont think i need to explain why as it is very obvious why.

Defence

Turnbull should be promoted to second goalkeeper. With that super talent Matej Delac joining us soon, i think we have three keepers that we can trust. I think that Delac could give Cech some competition. I mean a 17 year old that is the first keeper of his team, thats pretty impressive.

I also think that selling Riccy would be a good move. He is not that world-class player he used to be. It's finally time to pass on the torch to Alex.

So it would be best if Chelsea get a young defender. Simon Kjaer would be perfect but he is a starter at Palermo so it would be very hard to get him. Or maybe Tomkins from Westham would be an option. I haven't followed him lately but i do he is very mature for his age.

Maybe you guys have some other suggestions ?

And bring back Bertrand and promote him. Maybe Van Aanholt too ?

So that would leave the following:

RB: Bosingwa, Ivanovic, youth player
CB: Terry, Alex, Ivanovic (emergency), new player, Mancienne, Bruma, Hutch
LB: Ashley Cole, Zhirkov (emergency), Bertrand, Van Aanholt

*Note

I do feel that Mancienne is more a DM than a central defender, what do you think EskWeston ?.

But Chelsea should keep him and give him the chance to prove himself.

He would also be a good utility-man with him being able to play as a

CB, RB or DM.

Midfield

We really need new players in midfield. Players with creativity and or speed. Hamsik or Rafael Van der Vaart would be a good buy. I would prefer Van der Vaart as he is experienced but not too old (27). Hamsik would be a good buy as well of course as he has youth on his side. He could become a true superstar.

Ballack should sign for one more year but as a player for the bench. He would be good cover for Lamps.Matic should be promoted and be given more game time. Cork should be brought back and promoted.

DM: Essien, Mikel, Matic, Mancienne (emergency)

CM/AM: Lampard, Hamsik/Van der Vaart, Ballack, Matic, Cork

Attack

Aguero should be top priority. Fantastic player and very young. His pace, dribble and goal-scoring abilities are very needed. And i do feel that people underrate his strength. He is very strong for such a small guy, you will have to work hard to get him down. Pato in that matter is too light if you ask me. And he is injury prone so we dont need him.

Bring back and promote Stoch, promote Kakuta and give him more game time. Sturridge also needs more game time. He is very promising and with right guiding he can turn into a great player.

I would love to see Anelka stay but not as a right attacker. He sucks there. He should be Drogba's cover. If he decides not to sign a new contract then Chelsea should keep him untill his contract ends and get another if needed. It depends on Sturridge's and Borini's development.

Sell Kalou. He just isnt Chelsea material. I like Salomon but selling him and getting some money would be best.

Joey can leave too if he wants. He claims to love the club but if he leaves us for Man Utd, i would be very disappointed.

Left Attacker: Malouda, Kakuta, Sturridge (emergency)

CF: Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge, Borini

Right Attacker: Aguero, Stoch, Anelka (emergency)

I dont care if we Win the Double Domestically. I just want to get rid of the following Players no matter what as we are playing with the same team for 5 seasons.

Ballack OUT

Deco OUT

Ferreira OUT

Kalou OUT

Belleti OUT

Carvalho OUT

The SQUAD would look Much Much Fresher without these Players. Although im in two minds with Kalou. He is our best impact Player to be honest.

I would want to keep Joe Cole as he is reaching that stage in his career when he could put in some exceptional performances. If he wants to move on then he can go.

I'd bring in

Aguero IN

Hamsik IN

Kakuta IN

Bruma IN

Mancienne IN

Matic IN

Stoch IN.

Corck IN

Aguero, Hamsik, Kakuta, Bruma are direct replacements for Kalou, Ballack, Deco, Carvalho.

I would even add Hutchinson to the squad if FIT.

Squad as following:

GK: Cech, Turnbull, Hilario

Defense: A. Cole, Zirkov, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Bruma, Terry, Alex, Mancienne, Hutchinson(If FIT)

Midfield: Essien, Lampard, Hamsik, Mikel, Matic, Cork.

Attacking Midfield/Wingers: Malouda, Stoch, Kakuta, Joe Cole

Strikers: Drogba, Anelka, Aguero, Sturridge.

The Squad looks a great mix of youth and experience.

@warnie

thats why i said Pjanic OR Dembele, Dembele can be a great box to box midfielder, but i have no doubt pjanic could play de CM too, hes skillfull, has a good eye and passing, and a good shot and freekicks, would have to work on his physical side, but he plays CM in lyon too...

5 strikers cause, IF DEMBELE he could play at BOTH positions, but dont HAS to.

so i think both could play box to box, plus dembele could play AM and Striker...

For whoever suggest Muamba, he's not a center back, hes a defensive midfielder. An average one at best.

And those suggesting Dembele, Pjanic etc. Have you ever even seen them play?

And don't expect dramatic change this summer. It's not going to happen, is it?
