LDN Blue 7,903
Either of the Taylors from Newcastle should be in the squad. PotterFowl8
PotterFowl8 3
Agreed. But hey, Capello has "brilliant" Barry and "amazing" Ferdinand and a whole lot of donkeys players in his arsenal.
Kojo 4,676
Agree with Barton there, Capello picks reputation over form. In my opinion Leighton Baines should always be the starting England left back, Micah Richards should also be the starting England right back. Steven Taylor hasn't had a bad season, i don't rate him that much but i would of included him in the squad at least. BlueLion.
BlueLion. 21,491
If going by form, the back five should be; HartRichards - Taylor - Jones - Baines
francozola 2,040
Think Kyle Walker should be given a go at RB. I don't rate Micah Richards at all. He has the potential to be a world-class player but lacks a footballing brain imo

zolayes 14,489
this season has been so disrupted by internationals. Our transition under AVB has been severely handicapped by this. Will be glad when we can settle down . Clubs less hit by International calls have had a great advantage . FUCK Blatter and FIFA

LDN Blue 7,903
Good Chelsea representation going on tonight.Currently Josh McEachran's playing for the England u21's against Iceland in a Euro'13 game. They're currently 1-0 up. Jamal Blackman, Nathaniel Chalobah & Todd Kane are playing for the England u19's against Denmark in a friendly at the moment. Chalboah's been there the whole game whilst Blackman & Kane just came on in the 2nd half. Currently 0-0 there.David Luiz played 90minutes in a Brazil friendly today too. They won 2-0. Ollie 4,400
Glad to see Lampard still getting picked for these games but where is Micah Richards? Really don't get why he's not in the squad, he's been absolutely awesome so far this season. He always had the potential but now he has the right players around him, he is showing what he's all about. Also pleased for Adam Johnson, Danny Sturridge, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Jack Rodwell but.....Glen Johnson, Gareth Barry, James Milner, Stewart Downsyndrome and to some extent Bobby Zamora .... WTF?! Johnson should be replaced by Richards, Downy by well.... anyone and Zamora by Defoe. I hate England sometimes, what a load of wank. If i'm honest, may seem a bit sick n twisted but i hope Torres and Mata destroy us and show us up for what we trully are. And that's a load of over rated shit with players not even fit for the world stage. LDN Blue

And that's a load of over rated shit with players not even fit for the world stage.Exactly, trust Crapello to cock up his "youth" emphasised team. Our midfield is one of the worst in the world (out of respect to Lampard). How do we compare Milner - Barry - Parker - Lampard to Xavi - Alonso - Iniesta - Fabregas? It amazes me that FIFA or whoever still rank England the 5th best team in the world. We have no pure talent in this squad. No-one that will penetrate a defence or anything. Only Rooney strikes fear into an opponent & look what's happened with him! Once again he must carry this nation on his back. When Beckham was dropped from this squad, I thought it marked a new age. As much as I loved Becks, it was a step in the right direction. But nothing changed! The goal keeper did. The formation hardly has.Crapello knows nothing of the English style of football. I'd rather we had Sven back

Madmax 9,219
Love how Capello claimed that England's time as an intl force is well past. Looking for excuses to soften the blow of a probable defeat.
