LDN Blue 7,903
BTW, does this mean Richards will be available for no fee, except maybe the compensation, like when we signed Sturridge? It will if it means he's going to see out his contract. City could sell him before that though..

Spike 12,049
http://www.ibtimes.com/sportsnet/soccer/chelsea-transfer-news-target-micah-richards_649.htm@cfc444, mentioned this in the Azpilicueta thread. This seems very unlikely to me given that there are no quotes and that is the only source I can find in Google News.
Leif 6,006
Let's have a raise of hands from those who think we're going to be signing the oil-rich Premier League champion's starting right-back based on stories without quotes.
Superblue 6,372
Can't see it happening but for a similar price to Azpilicueta i would definately take him first!

OneMoSalah 8,887
Micah Richards would be some signing, such a good right back. He makes Bosingwa look like well Bosingwa.
Hutcho 8,443
I agree with most here, would love to see micah richards here, he was my first choice for england, but hodgson went for the shitty liverpool players... Definately a great defender, and being english a back 4 of COLE TERRY CAHILL RICHARDS would be pretty good...
The Skipper 20,609
I love Richards, really underrated. Would give us another option at CB as well.
Melanicus 5,208
Best defensive right back after Ivanovic in the Premier League. And that's the problem, as much as I rate Micah, we don't need him here. For backup right back, we need someone totally different than Ivanović - attacking right back. Because it would make no sense having to completly identical players, we need diversity in our right back position. We need attacking right back who would play against weaker teams in the league, which "park the bus" and down the wing.

I think he does a great defensive and offensive job. For me, he is one of (if not the best) right back in Premier League.

I think it isn't high, is it? He seems like he is another central back converted to full back.
Ollie 4,400
I always rated him but he does seem to get caught out a lot especially with positioning at times. He also seems too big if you know what i mean. He reacts poorly, well that's what i've noticed in the last couple of years and also at these olympics too. When he has a good day, he's one of the best RB's in the business but when he's bad, he's pretty bad

OneMoSalah 8,887
Exactly, remember when Bosingwa man marked fuck out of Messi and stopped him running the show in 2009...... at LEFT BACK. Does that make Messi a bad player? No.
