The indians didn't want the DRS so they can't moan about LBWs. DRS is needed and this test match shows that. There's been awful decisions against both teams in the series. And Anyway India were the ones who let Bell back in so it's their fault :P

Its all been played in a great spirit. Prior is on fife in this series. 50 for the BEST wicket-keeper batsman in test cricket.

Liking the position atm but India can still win this test if we're not batting by say 2pm tomorrow afternoon. It's been a good test match

Hahaha indeed. The smart logistic planning of the infamous BCCI on that call, assholes -_-

We've fielded appallingly this game. Bowling hasn't been that bad, but we do lack some variation. We don't have any death bowlers without Zaheer. Where England can rely on Broad to wrap up a tail, we have no such player. Haven't had in while to be honest.

The fact that we closed with only 6 down is important. We can add another 100 runs tomorrow and give ourselves time to get India out. It's very much in Englands hands now and are in a position i never thought we'd be in after the first day.

BCCI can Fuck Right off for being stubborn fucks with the DRS.

India came unprepared with players playing in IPL and then opting to rest for the Windies tour and now playing absolute pathetic cricket. Anderson, Broad have been smacked all over the place on the previous tours and I cant beleive we got owned by them. Complacency....and IPL to blame.

Dhoni and Harbhajjan can fuck right off!! Might as well play Saha as the WK, as he might get some crucial 20-30 runs down the order. Bunch of Pussies who threw away the match on the first morning itself.

Credit to Broad, What a fight back. He is having one helluva series. Bresnan looks a class all rounder. Credit to England, they dug in and got themselves out of the hole and won the match and almost the series. They seem to want it more than us and they deserve to win the series.

Although people keep mentioning that India dont deserve to be no.1, if England win it by a 2 win margin, do England deserve to be no.1? when was the last time they won a test series in subcontinent? Bangladesh apart. 2 years back, South Africa beat them in England, West Indies for fucks sake beat them in West Indies. While in case of India, this would be India's first test series loss in 3 years, the last one being in Australia thanks to Steve Bucknor whose performance was as classy as that of Ovrebo's at the Bridge and handed the Aussies a 2-1 victory at Sydney.

The only saving grace for us now is to win both the tests or draw one and win one and maintain the no.1 standing.

BCCI isn't opposed to use of technology.

It is the accuracy of the systems involved that BCCI is challenging. The Hawk Eye, Hot Spot amongst others are quite inaccurate, considering the ball is less than 3 inches wide they are only accurate to half an inch.

Sachin's reveresed LBW decision in the semifinal against Pakistan being the prime example. Everyone who saw it with the naked eye, replays included, knew it was out but the the Hawk Eye said otherwise.

When FIFA and PL aren't ready to use technology for goal line unless its 99% accurate, why should BCCI relent in and acceed when you know better technologies can be made available.

The same thing happened with Duckworth Lewis and now its up for being scrapped.

Hahaha too true. Is it any wonder England didn't want to play a test match series when they come to India in October?

And don't forget when Bell (again) got away with one in the World Cup because he was outside the line of the crease even though the ball would've gone on to get him out.

What a start, every ball coulda been a wicket almost, really good bowling by these 2. Anderson is like 2 overs, 0-17 but he's bowling very well. Very eventful first 3 overs. Hopefully we can keep the pressure on.

I'm slowly starting to find myself in love with Stuart Broad.

i feel so old because i can remember his dad and was a fan of his, playing for England. i met him actually and got his autograph from about `86-`87.. Stuart started out in youth cricket as an opening batsman like his dad.

he used to spray it about too much but the last year or so his bowling has become a lot more consistent..i`m not counting the Sri Lanka tests..it was clear he wasn`t quite match fit after the injury.
