The problem we had with Scolari is the same problem we will have with Carlo, It will all be lost in translation.

I cant help but agree with that. The only way I think Ancelottis ideas will get put over is if Wilkins stays on as #2. He can speak Italian fluently as he spent part of his career playing for Milan. That could help things run a bit more smoothly if he is confirmed as the new coach.

I am a Chelsea supporter! A Pre-Abramovich supporter! I love the fact that we have become a great side who can win titles, but, i hate the fact our attitude has become so "Fuck up and your gone". Drogba has showed more passion over the last 5 years than any other player bar Terry and Lampard.

Avram Grant took us further than any coach has in Europe! And for all the people who say "Jose did everything" Let's not forget we were sitting in seventh position and just drew at home in champions' league group stages. We ended up going to the final losing by a slip and coming within a point of our third consecutive premiership. So what does the ruski do? Fires him and brings in the biggest dope money can buy. I think Avram is the most underrated coach out there, and i am so surprised he hasn't found another managing job.

I have nothing against Ancelotti! Who gives a shit what nationality he is. The fact is, he hasn't won shit for ages, can't speak English, and coaches a totally different style to the premier league! He also has a dream team at his disposal and still can't challenge for the Scudetta. The problem we had with Scolari is the same problem we will have with Carlo, It will all be lost in translation.

i completely agree with what you said about avram, not sure if he is the most underrated coach out there but he deserves credit for what he did with you guys.

2006-07 champions league?

wasnt that long ago, ancelotti also doesnt have this supposed dream team at his disposal their defense is a joke and the midfield defensively is a major worry.

i dont think you can make that assumption that it will all be lost in translation or that he wont be able to coach well in the premier league. i still see him as the best realistic replacement.

Chelsea don't need the "best realistic replacement"! They need a coach that can come to the bridge (Not being begged) without making outrages signing requests ( Kaka, Young and Adebayor), Take what they have and build with it. Not every manager gets promised 100 million dollars of new talent if they sign a contract to coach.

I am sorry to say, but i see Ancelotti as another manager looking for a chance to fatten his wallet, not help the CFC become a winning dynasty.

Jose Mourinho came hungry! He took the club, sold more players than he bought (trust me!), and turned them into the strongest premier league force in decades. breaking countless records along the way! Avram took a club out on its feet, belted with injuries and made them dangerous again. Scolari fucked up everything we had worked for over the last 5 years, and Guus, Who i think is one of the best technical coaches i have ever seen, has had to pick up the pieces. I bet Alex Ferguson breathed a huge sigh of relief when Chelsea got robbed out of the Champions league final.

If i was Roman, i wouldn’t worry about signing this player and that player, I would be paying off the Russians for a contract release! END OF STORY! We don't need new players, WE DON'T NEED A NEW MANAGER, We need to secure Guus and build from there.

hiddink right now isnt realistic because i beleive he has put a lot into the russian team and wants to stay there at least for now. it is not a question of money.

and im sure mourinho doesnt coach to fatten his wallet, thats why he went to inter of course.

if a coach takes a team he wants to have his name written down in that clubs history so they are all hungry...

so a coach that took you further than mourinho and hiddink is a fud?

Yes. B)

I still stand by my beliefs that the players carried the club through that period. If Grunt was such a brilliant manager clubs would be falling over themselves to have him as their coach. And as it stands, no one has taken him on. What does that tell you ?

that he is underrated, the players obviously mustve done something but in the end its like saying when you lose its the coach's fault but when you win its because of the players.

Imo he did nothing to stamp his name on the team. We played the same way with the same players. The only player he brought in was Anelka and he wasnt played that often. I also believe it was Steve Clarke who kept the momentum going once Jose left. Avram was just a face in the dug out.

Clarkes influence was seen this season when he left we looked a different side, you can see the impact he's made at West Ham. Theres too many things like that for it to be a coincidence.

im sure it was all a factor in the sucess but to say avram did nothing is ridicilous.

Why would we want a manager who finished miles behind Jose in Italy this season?

Steve Bruce is a blinding suggestion, I'm still in favour of Moyes or O'Neill though.

What about Redknapp??? Wouldn't dream of it myself, But it would at least royally piss off the Yiddo's

Firstly, the CL final is down to Steve Clarke and some of the players.

Second : We don´t need to get Ancelotti when there is the chance to get O´Neill. He knows the English game from kind of an underdog position and did good with it. Give him a good squad like ours and he will do good. Do it before Manu snatches him from our nose.

Just because we have an healthy owner doesn´t mean we have to get a very big name i think

steve bruce in the champions league :censored:

this isent a training ground for managers (especially with the ages of our players), i'd rather take my chances with ancelotti who is the most inconsistent manager in the world.
