Would like to see a bit more risk in attack.

We recycle way too much. Often times there is clearly room to attack free space.

We almost NEVER try to play through the middle. It’s all trying to attack from wide. We have nobody who can play those riskier but highly dangerous line splitting passes with Colwill out and Enzo playing so far forward.

Tosin, Trev, Cucu and Caicedo only ever want to be super conservative and safe. It’s all sideways and backwards between themselves.

It’s something we really need to work on as the season progresses because team after team is going to try to do what Palace did last week against us and sit in super organized blocks which completely negates us.

Agreed. The type of passes that Santos played to Delap in one of the preseason games are the ones that cut teams open.

Our guys really don't ever want to try those passes, yet we, like a lot of teams love doing risky passes around the back but won't do it in an attempt to cut teams open.

sounds like Enzo Maresca has told them not to do that if they never do it.

We’ve looked dreadful to start the season. Completely polar opposite to the two preseason matches.

I don't agree about our preseason. Parts of the Leverkusen game were good but we were terrible against Milan. I was stunned when I read praise of that performance.

Adam Wharton

Marc Casadó

those 2 deep lying playmakers make those type of passes

Casadó has a bit of Cesc to his game

i think we struggling agaist lower league teams because they dont come at us. they play 10 men back. if we play any of the top teams we wil see some good football from us.
