Hate is just banter using your logic, you cant go around professing your sainthood and then be a total hypocrite and expect my fingers to keep still

Anyway im only highlighting this silly bollux

onwards and upwards

there is a massive difference between banter in re footie and then what you are doing in dragging the Poltics forum posts posts into where you tried to have a go over our serious exposing of Trump and MAGA and RW shitbaggery in general

I already replied to that in that forum

and now you are trying to bring that into other parts of the board

Estevao in previous game impressed me a lot more than Gittens in this game so far.

Where's the end product? Looks like a nervous kid getting a chance to play with the grownups at the mo.

Hated his performance today. All flash, no production. Thought he received far more praise than he deserved on Friday and today he showed nothing. If decisions are made on the basis of these two pre-season games, there is no way Gittens starts next weekend.

I'm already very, very, doubtful about the wisdom of this transfer.

Palace won't be easy. Far from it. They go toe to toe with Liverpool with bigger xG so far. Liverpool goals came of nothing.

I've obviously seen the score but I haven't watched any of the game from Wembley. Even without doing that however I was pretty certain that Palace will be a bigger test than we have faced against either of our opponents this weekend. Not too impressive a display from us today. Shows a real need for feet on the ground about the upcoming season.

Gittens needs to keep his shots down

and even more important

he needs to pass to far more open teammates

Disappointed in what I've seen from him so far. He shows technical limitations and little, if any, football instinct.  Based on these two displays I am extremely worried about this deal and the money paid.

Chalobah seemed to be walking fine at the end. Hopefully will be fit for the opener.

But we absolutely need a new CB. An injury to either him or Tosin., and we are vulnerable

I didn't feel Trev looked convincing at LCB in any case. Several situations developed which proved Maresca's point about the desirability of a capable left foot for that role.

🎵 Oh when the Samba rhythm starts to play,
Dance with me, make me sway,
Estevao running down the wing,
Scoring goals making Chelsea sing,
La La La La La La La La La 🎵

Good work. 🙂

Think it scans better if you take out making and elongate Chelsea instead.

Most of all though I think it's far too many words for the Neanderthals that turn up at The Bridge. Most of us can't even count up to the number of words in that chant. 🙂

Gitten missed a couple sitters but was always involved and gives us options, think he will start

If today's display indicates the level we can expect from him then I seriously doubt he will start and sincerely hope he does not. I felt he was utterly hopeless today.

I don't think it indicated much more than hes the best option we have at LW and a tidy good quality player however sweeping statements of any kind before the seasons even started would be wild

Like the team as a whole, lets judge at xmas

That's a ridiculous statement, he showed more in 2 crappy pre season warm ups than any LW we have had for ages, I was shocked to see a Chelsea player actually get past players, wayy to early to make sweeping statements, he was decent he just didn't score

Would you like noni back lol?!

Simons may end up taking the spot

In preference to the version of Gittens I watched today? Yes, Noni back. Absolutely.

He was a little better on Friday, but still unconvincing. Today he did not look like a player having a bad day, he looked like a bad player. When he gives me something better to build hopes on, I will build them.
