Boehly was there,  showed him a couple of times, he was with Trump and Infantino, they even went onto the field after the game with no bodyguards

What a great feeling after the semis + final to know that we are going into the season with Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto in our forward line. Creativity, flair, hard working, bit of bite to them, feels like a bit of proper Chels emerging there.

The most surprising thing, not a complaint though, is that it actually worked in crucial game like this.

But I'm really curious, because I've never been a fan of Reece James playing in midfield. It's not uncommon for us to look weak and poor when he plays there. Is there something about how PSG set up their midfield? Can someone elaborate on why it actually worked so well in this game?

just found this

Think whoever played midfield would have also done well, it was that sort of day. Don't think it's right though when you have 3 or 4 specialist midfielders on the bench.

Unexpected performance and what was that by Enrique after the final whistle, grabbing Pedro by the throat?

Palmer really is something else.

Looked like Enrique punched him, glad we never got him, cant have a person like that as a manager of the team.

And after the game he claimed that he was trying to separate the players and calm the situation lmao

Pretty much couldn't have done anything more to escalate it than he did, in general find Enrique quite an admirable man but he totally lost his mind last night and we'll see if after a good nights sleep he's ready to admit he did wrong and take what shoud be a harsh punishment like a man. Anyone can make a stupid mistake but it is how you deal with it afterwards that really shows who you are.

But punishment from FIFA can't really hurt him.

FIFA is above all aren't they, would have thought they certainly can punish him? Unless I'm incredibly confused? For biting Chiellini in the world cup in 2014, Suarez was banned from all football activities including training by FIFA for four months.

I think Enrique should be expecting a punishment like that with a shorter length.

£110m for this and £52m for Noni

Don't even need a proper stadium when you can make money like this

£84m is the most convincing calculation I've seen. £92.7m is the maximum but a) we didn't qualify for the highest participation fee and b) we missed out on £1.483m with our group stage loss.

I kind of agree, we are the first team to win it in the new format and no one will take it away. And the players might actually welcome some proper rest if we miss out next time lol

My money says that the players would want the opportunity to defend their title four years from.
