I’ll take squeaky wins for the remainder of the season if it means we grab top 4 and CL football next season. Won’t be good for my health but hey this is Chelsea we support Mhsc, Fernando and bigbluewillie

He stretched his right leg to pick up the pass from Neto in a nice exchange between the two, then dropped to the ground. Looked OK after that, but perhaps he wasn't 100% anymore. bigbluewillie

Glad we're starting to get some. I don't know how we get to Arsenal's level of just repeatedly robbing people in broad daylight but I'm here for it if we can manage it
lluubbeenn 173
When Maresca uses his 5 subs we win LOL Hope that now that we know who will be here this season we can find some consistency!
robsblubot 3,595
Thought the first goal was the result of attacking pressure, but yeah the second was pure luck. Their goal was a giveway tho, so it's not like they deserved anything better. Potter back from (Chelsea FC sponsored early) retirement and then relegates WHU?! That'd be fun to watch... 😆

The last thing we really need. It could have been a blessing in disguise for him. I guess we'll find out the full extent tomorrow. robsblubot

That is what we said in December before the favourable fixture list and we failed miserably. I can’t trust these players just yet. I wish it was the way you wrote though. A good team does not even need to be in particular good for, e.g. City, because the help with provide (aka errors) is enough for good players to capitalize on. For example, was it really surprising that Haaland scored from that Sanchez brain fart? Would a lesser striker score that goal too? I doubt it. Actually Halland had an amazing game against us; he came alive in the second half, unfortunately.

His defensive work starting with that high press was always interesting. I get why people may find that boring, but it can be especially effective against the strongest sides. Don't think they are mutually exclusive. It did not work so well against poor-form City. Jackson plays a big part in our game plan away from home -- he makes really great runs and plays well in counters. Without him, things might get more interesting. I really hope Filip is at least better than Sanchez, but honestly, I don't feel anything at the moment. It's way too soon considering where, against who, and how often each played.
