I mean I am not taking too much from preseason but Caicedo and Tosin are showing that they're going to have serious problems playing in such a ball orientated system. The second goal was really concerning. Firstly, Caicedo got pressured too easily and panicked by playing it back to no-one then Tosin for some reason showed Haaland inside. That is fairly basic stuff that they should not be doing.

As for Mudryk he is even worse on the right than the left. Why even bother putting him there?

Noni has been criticized a lot for during the preseason for being selfish and wasteful. Well, he is, but at least he is always trying. Mudryk is like the guy in the office who always try hard to stay under the radar so it’s not so obvious they don’t know shit.

Wish we could get rid of him somehow.. 
 

Defence seems a mess once again, like we’re not really getting any closer who will play where. Beginning of the season will be painful again.

I like Noni but this is 100% true. He's a world class whiner. I hated playing with people like him when I was a kid.

That was literally in the first few minutes of preseason for Caicedo... Remember he was a key player in De Zerbi's system and phenomenal for us last year when we had inverted fullback playing next to him.

I think he and Lavia will both play better as a pivot with a player like Malo next to them though. I don't really see that we can get Enzo, Lavia and Caicedo in teh same XI and this was a WEIRD attempt at it.

There are annoying aspects in his game, no doubt, like pushing for penalties.

But even Today, immediately tried to make things happen. Might not work all the time but at least not staying anonymus.
