Someone PLease Stop this nonsense With Anchelotti... We are gonna make the Milan a favor and we are gonna be scure with him.... Anchelotti is the biggest looser coach in the serie A.

I preffer Rijkaard 100 times than him....

GUUS HIDDINK could pocket up to £2.5million for a four-month stint as Chelsea’s caretaker boss.

The Dutchman can hit the jackpot while he keeps the manager’s seat warm for Carlo Ancelotti.

As SunSport revealed yesterday, AC Milan chief Ancelotti is Chelsea’s No 1 choice to replace the axed Phil Scolari.

Milan chiefs admit he will leave the club this summer and the Blues expect him to be installed by June. In the meantime, Hiddink is expected to be confirmed tomorrow as interim boss and he will be highly paid for his few weeks’ work.

The ex-Holland coach will get a £1.5million basic salary.

Then on top of that he could get a £500,000 bonus for winning the Champions League and the same again depending on performances in the league and FA Cup.

Hiddink, 62, has made it clear he will NOT take the job full-time and is only helping out as a favour to Roman Abramovich.

He will continue as Russia’s national boss while at Stamford Bridge and return to that job in the summer to let Ancelotti take charge.

AC Milan director Umberto Gandini hinted at where Ancelotti’s future lies yesterday.

He said: “If the Chelsea position is open in July, I think he might consider it.”

Ancelotti has won two Champions League trophies as AC Milan coach.

Scolari, in charge for seven months, left Chelsea with a £7.1m compensation package yesterday.

if there was any hope of Kaka... is gone forever...

KAKA has told Chelsea they have made a big mistake by sacking Phil Scolari so quickly.

The AC Milan superstar was part of Scolari’s World Cup-winning Brazil squad of 2002 and was also given his first cap by the axed Blues boss.

Kaka said: “I don’t understand how a club that wants so bad to win titles can take such a bad decision as this.

“Just because Chelsea had a couple of bad matches. It was a big mistake. I’m sure, in a few weeks or months, he’ll be coaching an even bigger club than Chelsea.”

The Chelsea part-timer - Hiddink set to double up with Russia and Kenyon may be next to go

Roman Abramovich completed one of the most astonishing deals in English football history last night when he replaced his World Cup-winning manager with a coach he will share with Russia.

In a move revealed exclusively by Sportsmail and which has cast serious doubts over the future of Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon, Guus Hiddink will take over from the sacked Luiz Felipe Scolari until the end of the season while also continuing to guide the Russians to the next World Cup.

The situation is simplified by the fact that Abramovich is already helping the cash-strapped Russian Football Union pay Hiddink's 7million euro (£6.14m) salary.

But it remains no less amazing when Chelsea's Russian owner is acting against the judgment of a football administrator as experienced as Kenyon, who considered it more prudent to give Scolari the chance to revive his stuttering side.

Abramovich arrived in London on Monday with the specific intention of sacking Scolari in a secluded part of the club's Surrey training complex and spent yesterday at Stamford Bridge once again directing operations.

By lunchtime he had received permission from the Russian Football Union to speak to Hiddink and by last night the details of the deal were all but in place.

Chelsea officials remain unsure if Saturday's FA Cup tie against Watford would be Hiddink's first game in charge or the hugely important Barclays Premier League encounter at Aston Villa a week later.

This week's events will be of considerable concern to Kenyon, who has been a largely isolated figure over the last few days. Abramovich did not even wait for him to return from a holiday in Barbados before sacking Scolari, greatly contrasting with Kenyon's role as executioner in the axing of the three previous managers.

Kenyon arrived back in London early yesterday - two days earlier than expected - to find his position as the highest-paid executive in English football a matter of huge speculation.

In his favour, however, is his strong relationship with agent Pini Zahavi, who once again has emerged as Abramovich's favoured middle-man in the Hiddink deal.

Earlier yesterday Hiddink, who is under contract with Russia until after the 2010 World Cup, explained why he could not resist Chelsea's advances.

'I have to admit it's a complicated situation involving the Russian national team and Chelsea,' he said while with his squad at a training camp in Turkey.

'This is an exceptional situation. If it was any club other than Chelsea my answer would be a straight "No".

But Chelsea is different because I have good relations with the owner. 'It would be a full managerial role, a day-to-day job.

But this would only be for the next two or three months until the end of the season. 'I will not leave my job with the Russian national team.

When I took the Russia job it was a long-term project and I don't like to leave it unfinished. But we'll meet in the next few days and will talk about the whole thing.'

Chelsea have agreed compensation for Scolari - thought to be around £6m - and his assistants Flavio Teixeira, Darlan Schneider and Carlos Pracidelli.

Daily Mail

If this is true i will be so much happier i cannot stand that twat Kenyon.

I'm still rather worried... I think that Hiddink will be the same as Scolari... He iis used to the International side of football, so we may still perform as we still are.

Was thinking the same, but Hiddink isnt as laissez faire as Scolari, and its only temporary.

Think we'll see a different mentality against Watford, and am optimistic for the Villa game as well....

Well of course if this is a short term option the club will have to look again in the summer... that's the whole point.

No I mean the fact pre season starts in July and theres 5 months until then so why not start looking now.Ratehr then come summer 'oh we aint got anyone woops and have them come in late again and have hardly a say in tranfers/time to work out what we need.

I didnt know we were planning to go for Kaka anyway :S

Oh right, in which case I full heartedly agree with you.

You Bet he is damn effective. If it hadnt been for Roman's penchant for sacking Jose and grant, we would have been on target with our break even plans which were set 5 years back. You gotta give him credit for what he does, although he does look villainish and acts like a cunt more often on football matters. But when it comes to business he is spot on.
