"There is no getting around it. El Kun has a signed contract. He has shown his desire to leave, but we say the same thing. We do not want to sell. We respect his decision, but he also has to respect ours. He has a commitment to us"

That is what the Atletico president said today, which means more than likely any team that wants him will have to pay 45m.(N).gif

AND HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH THE SUMMER NOVEL

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo, insists Sergio Aguero is not for sale.He said:'We are not going to change our thinking. We will not sell or trade for Aguero. If anyone wants to know something new,ask him directly. There is no getting around it.El Kun has a signed contract. He has shown his desire to leave, but we say the same thing. We do not want to sell.We respect his decision, but he also has to respect ours.He has a commitment to us.In his recent statements I heard him say he had no intention of leaving.I do not know how we will address this issue, but this is not the end of the world. We do not know where he wants to go,but we can say that there has never been an official contact with another club.'

Let me translate that for you.

"Cash out 45millions or nothing happens." Torres type of transfer number 2. Pricks...

I am really beginning to hate these release clauses that make players overpriced and especially clubs using that to their advantage.

realising we seem in a desperate situation ,,any players we go for will have their prices increased ,,,back to the early Roman days

I don't think we are in desperate situation. It has to do more with us spending 50million just like that for a player that is not better then Aguero at the moment. He is their main player and the biggest start, and it's normal that they want to get as much as they can from him.

Can't understand those who prefer Neymar to Aguero. Their prices would be almost the same, qualities definetly not..

Because one plays on the wing and the other is a striker...

We need winger, that's right. Let's buy Hazard then.

... Hazard is a right winger, we also need a left winger...

I think amongst the board they already know who is leaving and who is staying, coming in.

I would prefer if we got Agüero rather than Neymar. Agüero is a determined, quiet, polite player. Neymar has his moody days, does have sort a diver image to him. I'm sure they'd both fit in and do a great job in the Premier League but my preferance would be Agüero. (Prices, wages should be about the same as well.)

Yes, perhaps Neymar purely on talent has a higher ceiling than Aguero but Kun is probably a better "character" for the team. Young, but married with a kid and settled. Serious about football and though not a troublemaker, can be feisty on the pitch. His game is different from Torres, but in personality and temperament, they are similar.

Frak!

I take Neymar, Aguero, Van der Wiel and Pastore if you can give it to me.

You guys seem to forget that we'd get rid of Anelka, Malouda, Kalou, Drogba - massive changes in salary budget as well as couping some money for them +shirt sales. I'd take it. We need a bigger squad, so that makes room for Ryan Bertrand, Patrick Van Aanholt, Daniel Sturridge, Gael Kakuta and Josh McEachran. Then its their chance to take the oppurtunity. Perhaps loaning some of them out for 6 months, while giving playing time for others. I think Jeffrey Bruma has to have a full season loan because I don't see him getting playing time with Luiz, Ivanovic, Terry, Alex as centre-backs.
