I think today ought to have show Roman and Uncle Fester that we need to get him almost at any price. As BB says, he is a great dribbler and can hold a ball up well, something we sadly lacked today against Spudz. This will end tomorrow for sure with us having to pay a bit over the top.

Well the last day is finally upon us and it we will know one way or the other for sure by midnight.

There is no telling what will happen. Although i have a feeling that after Robinho's press conference Madrid may well decide to just let him go. But you do have to laugh very hard at the way Madrid are being total hypocrits about this transfer with the way they have gone about transfers in the past and even with Ronaldo this summer.....

calderon seems to be an arrogant and egoistic man. He seems to be making this business of getting players and selling them something of a war between clubs. I haven't seen this kind of behavior with any other directors, especially with the player so willing to leave. When arjen robben wanted to leave last year Chelsea were so professional about it, that too to real!!...Didn't make any stupid demands and went ahead with what the player wished for. This is so not the way real should repay Chelsea.

It is still very very hard to know what is going to happen. Are Madrid really taking this hard-line stance and willingness to keep a players who really doesn't want to stay and isn't happy with the way the club has trated him? Or are they going through the motions of putting up a fight to make themselves look better in the eyes of their fans?

Who knows to be honest. Madrid put themselves in this situation by ignoring Robinho and going all out for Ronaldo which fell through, now they are on the receiving end of what they wanted Ronaldo to do to get out of Man Utd and they do not like it..

I hope we sign him, i think we need him. After letting go Pizarro, Sheva and SWP we are short of options now upfront.

I don't think its about the image in front of the fans, after all the player himself has come out and made his intentions clear. Madrid can't be held responsible for this by the fans. What the fans would not be pleased with is that the player is making statements due to the fact the Real's actions have led the player to this situation. By keeping a player who they have upset they r just hoping he get over it in time. They don't really care for him. They need him this season and will let him go eventually when there actual desire of ronaldo is complete. Robinho knows this, so he's right to be angry. He won't get out of this one.....sadly. But I hope.....

I seriously think we won't sign him. I think Calderon's resistance to keep him is far too strong!
