Do we all need to sound like cheerleaders here?

non sequitur

no one here is demanding non stop cheerleading

but that troll was chatting toxic AF shit all match, like they normally have to entire 5 and half tears I have been here

wilfully trolling by calling for Mudryk to come on when they self-admittedly knew he is out injured proves that they are a bad faith poster, a dodgy wind-up merchant who is here to just shit-stir and non constructively criticise the team

This guy might be the most shrewd buy of them all.

Reece could have a hard time to get back into the team. Gusto will now start game after game and if he builds up the momentum I dont see how Reece immediately replaces him when hes fit again

Ah I was not referring to HenriqueGPT... just the overall idea that having different opinions esp divergent ones is good for the forum.

yes, but Henrique is uniquely toxic

we all are critical at times (look at me with CuCu and Gallagher)

but we all are also positive a lot of time

and our criticisms are directed towards a being a better team

that troll is just non stop rip any and all

and they almost never post on anything else

they just slither into game day chats and shit all over

notice how little I post about buying RBs, other than mentioning (for years) that CB Mohamed Simakan is a really decent RB as well

the only two RBs we do not have that I truly rate are

Achraf Hakimi

and then further down

Jeremie Frimpong (main thing that worries me with him is he is really short, only 1.71m, but he is super pacey and a great crosser)

below those toss in Nahuel Molina, Lutsharel Geertruida, and perhaps Nordi Mukiele

there are some really good youth ones coming up, but they are not at Gusto level yet

Iván Fresneda
Arnau Martínez

Saël Kumbedi
Kiliann Sildillia
Brandon Soppy
Devyne Rensch

Jokes aside, it's really weird. I remember him from years ago; he's always been on the controversial side of things, but used to be sensible.

Good to have a win and delighted with Jackson to have his first goal, but I don't understand why poch continues to stick to a back 3. The first half was simply horrific. After the half time  we switched to a back 4 and magically we grew in the game.

4 at the back, and not having Conor play so far forward would open the game up. Obviously we have a few injuries at the moment and makes it difficult.

Mudryk in place of Conor that far forward would have faired better, Caceido getting to full fitness as well. I think Lavia will add a layer of robustness and dynamism to the team too.

NJ is super impressive to me. Like any striker at times when you are alone you will fumble the ball here and there, but he links up so well, presses the defenders, and makes chances out of nothing for other guys. He really should have had 1 or 2 assists tonight as well if the boys were finishing. Happy with him as our main man, but having someone behind him who can push him would benefit as well.

I hope Lavia can help us to be more confident in a 433 or 4231. I think 3 atb is going to mean just trying to hold on to draws instead of unlocking a more attacking style. Conor is a wonderful squad player, but he is not great on defense, he is not great attacking. We need players that bring something special. I hope Poch can make Mudryk a real attacking player but to be very honest all I have seen from him so far is Daniel James. A lot of pace with little end product or creativity. Maybe Poch can coach him up?
