Just pressed reply and your post is full of red because of spelling mistakes . In a nutshell next manager is going to be Ian Holloway, Roman has joined a kibbutz in Israel, Conte has replaced Griezmann as the new face of head and shoulders and Marina is staying in Russia as she's going to represent them in next year's Eurovision.

Which top jobs were really available? We already had Conte, likewise Bayern Carlo and Pep City, Jose to United was already done by all accounts. Aside from Barca, no top club have had an opening since he left Paris, if he left them a year earlier things might have worked different for him.

I actually think for the first time in ages things are looking good as far as England are concerned. We are starting to smash it at youth level with players like Mount, CHO, Sancho coming through and as much as Southgate initially underwhelmed me, he is picking on merit and utilizing systems to suit his players, the first manager of such to do so since Robson.

After 2014 i was resigned to never seeing England win anything in my lifetime, and while i still wouldn't hold my breath on it, i see some flicker of hope now.

I agree with you on the geezer part. Made me chuckle too.

He did reject a lot of clubs, especially in La Liga tbf. Also, he was favourite to take over from LvG after his last season at United, until we sacked Mourinho.

 

I have only watched UCL games from his time and read complex tactical articles (mostly cause I'm a tactical nerd). I remember he took PSG to the next level, for sure. When we faced PSG, it always felt like we are the underdogs instead, although we had a much greater squad strength. He also introduced Rabiot and Marquinhos, who are now key players for them. 

 

He doesn't come out as a revolutionary like Sarri, but he has exactly the same CV (maybe even better) as Conte, when the Italian joined us. 3 consecutive league titles in a league where it seemed like it was a one horse race. Not very good performances in Europe. Although he does have an edge in Knockout competitions over Conte in his UCL achievements and domestic cups. Also, his season at Bordeaux where he won the title quite astonishingly and went unbeaten with them in a group which had Juve and Bayern Munich in UCL.

 

I'm not saying this cause he's linked to us. If we went on to get Sarri, even then I'd rate Blanc, wherever he goes.

In a nutshell:

Everyone is so on edge that every piece of twitter this or that is brought up, analyzed, then debated.  Cabin fever has taken hold.  Lack of news is leading to in-fighting.

When he was there, he gives all the power to the big guys who fall into comfort and lack of intensity. And I thinks that why DL want him, to win back his influence in the team.

He's a very inmaginative manager who wants to do Pep philosphy but understands nothing about it.
When journalist asked him "what your philosophy, he answered: my philosophy is possession" Or guy like Pep, Sarri Smapaoli always say possession is a mean not the end.

For example he used to put Cavani as left winrger, and of course the guy was bad because he wanted him to play like Leroy Sane...

And when Motta or Verratti was injured, the team used to lose control of the ball because the way the team play was based on individual quality and not strong pattern.

If we inexplicably cock up Sarri's deal, we could do a lot worse than a serial title winner.

With you on this. I still want and hopeful for Sarri and i think we may actually get him. Blanc seems not to care about being second best , plays more attacking football than Conte and plays youth - which is what us fans have wanted for years now.

Only slight worry is his statue, not sure he'll have the pull power on top players as others

With Abramovichs visa problems, and the UK and US hostility to Russia - I hope Abramovich isn't churlish and  take it out on his English club -by neglecting immediate remedial work -manager, players. I think/hope he is a bigger man than that. Again with regard to the visa thing, it is known there are many high up in the Home Office, that are gooners, who hide for a living, and will be enjoying the Chelsea upheaval, if not instrumental in it.

With regard to the manager, I don't think Conte is the man for next season, the board have fucked him off -so Laurent Blanc (Larry White) maybe the solution, though with our boardprobably end up with Dave Bassett.
