What do you mean by finished? And why is Blanc so bad? I agree to the fact that he isn't the most attractive manager available, but he's got a great CV which isn't helped by Messi, Neymar and Suarez like that of Enrique's. Or has won trophies unlike Sarri (who had much more funds available to him than Blanc at Bordeaux).

There's a case for every manager. Just because we were dreaming of Sarri, we can't be already shitting on a decent available manager.

Have to agree as I dont know enough about his management style. But he didn't do bad at Barca so i dont know just why peeps here are so anti him.

I wish I knew. The only down side I see is his very high wages when we coulda got Sarri.

But whoever it is comes or stays i hope its sorted soon cause its getting sillier by the day

Even though it's still nowhere near official, I feel people are too quick to jump to conclusions and judgement on Blanc. Have a read, he's not the best out there but he isn't near as bad as being portrayed. Give it a read, this is very insightful

Because he will stay with 1-2 years only . He can’t do something special for us ,maybe some good football and that’s all!

If he was special  ,he wouldn’t be unemployed .

sarri is something different  maybe he is the next best thing . We must try this “experiment "because who knows? He could be the next guardiola.

Based on the all the news articles, received so far and their reliability,

The probability of Sarri getting appointed > that of Blanc, Enrique, Jovanovic. Especially if you consider the leaked stuff of Napoli players wishing Sarri good luck in London, and Sarri's assistant coaches talking about a move to London.

Yet a few dodgy articles and a couple of tweets are enough to make people lose their minds. Can't blame them though, we've had a crappy couple of transfer windows tbf.

I'd read that.  I didn't find it particularly exciting, personally.  Especially that section on how slow PSG were to move the ball from build up to the final 3rd without Verratti.

So not exactly finished, yeah?

"If he was special, he wouldn't be unemployed". These are the worst kind of statements people make. Full of ignorance. He was very much linked with Manchester United while we had Mourinho, only after we sacked him, they went for Jose. He kept turning clubs down to manage Barcelona as well.

Also, if you think Sarri is going to be here for more than 3 seasons if we appoint him still, you're dreaming. That doesn't happen at the club.

I hate how Chelsea fans behave like kids and don't get the shiney new toy. Yeah, we may have messed up Sarri, but it isn't the end of the world if he doesn't come here.

All seems a game of chess to me. Just a thought:

Sarri is still the top target. Possibly Napoli appointing CA early made Chelsea think Napoli have shown their hand and thought we can get Sarri cheaper than the £8m (and rightly so a club cant have 2 managers so Sarri is off)

Yes, that's Chelsea being tight and penny pinching but its clear we are trying to be more 'economic' watching what we spend. Wouldn't surprise me  if there is/was a mutual deal between us a Sarri to get him out of his contract via lawyers/buying himself out of his contract and we'll give him a bonus. I suspect something similar happened last season with Ross Barkley.

The talk we are put off by his past action are BS, we would have known about that, just a smoke screen to distance ourselves from him-  as is his agent 'who is chelsea' talk

Things are taking longer than hoped for and being a World Cup summer/Shorter transfer window, we need to line up a replacement if things don' to smoothly - hense the Blanc/Joka talk

All things have gone quiet for us in the tranafer window too, hoping for a domino effect and we've had deals just waiting to be signed once Sarri/ a manager gets appointed

my hope at least

Chelsea news: Blanc deal close as Italian newspaper blasts Blues over Sarri collapse

blanc deal close for more than a week now... does it take that long to wrap up deal for a new manager... At least he is not employed by any club presently unlike Sarri/Jokanovic....so why close for more than a week now?

It certainly takes that long for Journalists to speculate that's for sure.
