Personally I like the idea of this tournament. I think it serves a purpose of bringing the game together over the world. And in the end, it'll be either a South American team or a European team that wins it, so it's not like there's no sense of competition.

Yeah, its a nice idea alright, and there is a sense of competition like someone armed with a Kalashnikov up against an unarmed 3 year old. A team from New zealand who are all part timers in the World Club Championship, for example.....

Been going a lot longer than the European Cup It was called the Intercontinental Cup and was quite a good tournament.
