Peace. 4,352
Once again, his performance was abysmal with France. I do not get how he is still being picked. Each and every time he gets the ball, he loses it within five second. He seriously has to be benched, both with France and Chelsea.

Peace. 4,352
Didn't they make him captain once? Yeah ! If I do recall correctly, it was in october 2010, though I can't remember against who. I only remember he was, hmm, poor xD. He wasn't to do all by himself.

bluesman2610 1,417
Correct Zola could have played 3 more years at least ,,, pity he didn't, our last real playmaker, are you forgetting deco...he was still world class in his advanced age when he came he just needed the right players around him but our game flowed alot better with him then it is now
termninja 5,290
http://www.thesun.co...nt-Malouda.htmlThey better take Kalou, he will claim Robben's spot for his own and put pressure on Arjeen.
Term-X 7,891
Malouda being interviewed on Chelsea TV.. http://www.firstrows...watch-chesea-tvI feel uneasy with Malouda's PR campaign right now, he got an individual interview after the leverkusen game and now this. He's trying to create a public image that he's Mr chelsea/guaranteed first team player, when that should no longer be the case.
francozola 2,040
He's been using the media to try and 'force' the club to give him a new contract. He has said in practically every single interview that he wants to 'end his career' at Chelsea, etc. The fact that nothing has been done in so long has to be a sign that he's not going to get one! Guest justin_3d
If Malouda is happy eating bench, then i don't mind keeping him.I will find Malouda a far better super sub then Kalou!
Kieran. 6,317
Agreed about Malouda being a good sub.

Joking with him about his Midfield position he played against Leverkusen. Good stuff.
Term-X 7,891
Joking with him about his Midfield position he played against Leverkusen.I thought that had dark undertones towards Mata tbh, It's worrying how much influence Malouda may have. Term-X 7,891
What do you mean? What was said?It was more of a wink at the audience rather than anything explicitly said towards Mata. Drogba was a call in guest, and he joked that Malouda was Gattuso (direct quote). In the sense that he was played out of his favoured position. When Malouda was questioned about Mata towards the end, he brushed it off by mentioning Zhirkov & J. Cole, and how there has always been competition. I hate his attitude and I'd prefer to give a youngster a chance rather than just keep him to be a super-sub (I mean next season onwards). I know that he can be quality and can potentially contribute by coming off the bench but 90% of the time he can't be bothered to run or do anything useful and I just dislike the way he goes about everything

The amount of exposure he gets on the official site is severely disproportionate to his squad role.
Blue Armour 4,442
That's just silly...thinking Malouda can control the club and AVB through the club's media outlet...I think they always use Malouda and Drogba as they're few of the well known foreign players that can actually speak in English. Also, Chelsea TV probably think they're good entertainment value as they can be like jokers in front the camera...
SeB 1,281
I don't understand the bashing of Malouda to be frank, he is a player that I like and I'm surprised by the treatment made of him. I must admit that I hate his twin brother who plays in a deck chair and shoot in every position...But it's impossible not to see his contribution for the Double first of all, and after that because he had to play all the games since the 2009 Autumn. Of course he had to change a bit his way of playing, but Torres did also so at Liverpool because of the amount of games he had to play every weel, month... Malouda's stamina is excellent but he is an human, with so much games played for the last 20 months, it has consequencesMalouda is a versatile player who can have some difficulties to put up with the preparation, but so is Lampard, Drogba or Anelka... He is increasing and his Leverkusen game speaks on his own, he is a player able to play on a flank and in the midfield with the same intelligence and accuracy in the build up of the goals and put impact in the midfield.I don't really think he deserves the silly selfish player label that everyone wants to stick on his forehead. He is not a money driven rat, he is involved in several humanitarian causes and cares a lot about children in Guyana...
