I though that throw-in right at the start of the second-half was a perfect illustration as to why he is undeserving of his status as an 'untouchable'; sloppy, unfocused, overconfident. He is playing like a player who knows that he doesn't need to fight for his place.

He did put in the cross for our goal today, and he should have had a penalty awarded to him, But he fucking fails to convert loads of crosses from good situations and because of his diving antics he will never be awarded a penalty. I think when he retires he should take up an acting career, or at least star in reality television. Starting with "Splash" alongside Tom Daley. Thats where his diving will at least be appreciated

Average game for him, but I must say that I felt Jose is at fault for this one since Ivanovic was left a lot to defend against two players with not much support from his teammates. As Ramires came on, you could easily see how suddenly their tactic wasnt effective that much anymore.

Agree though, his performances should be better, especially when it comes to defending.

He could use a rest after so much games. I would really like to see Luis and Aspi next game, we need more attacking flair with our recent dip in performances.

It's hard to feel calm these days watching Ivanovic play. THAT throw-in early in the second half right to Matic, who was like in the middle of the pitch, was such a fucking, brainless, idiotic thing to do. We could have so easily gone down to 10 men when Matic subsequently made that foul on Mane but thank god Mike Dean was being lenient that time.

Also, THAT rather dramatic fall when Tadic tripped him in the box, was embarrassing to watch. He's such a big and strong fella and yet goes down so easily and theatrically!

Our team is full of false players. Maybe we are looking to invent new positions? Ivanovic is a false-back, Willian is a false-winger, Azpi is a false-leftback, Oscar is a false-ten, Cahill is just false. We are often branded the most complete team, but a team full of so many false positives can't be very complete.
