What you pointed out there may be true but that is what, only 1 game? His off the ball work offensively may well be decent but ON it, he's extremely rubbish at it, which is what has been mentioned from the beginning.

why do i feel that both of us are saying the same thing. the only difference being, i am giving iva the benefit of doubt as he has been brilliant defensively, working really hard for the team and he gives an awesome tactical advantage to mou to go 3-4-3 when in need for a goal.

How did someone so technically terrible on the ball get a shirt in a big club like chelsea. I've never seen a footballer that is so terrible with the ball at his feet.

He cant shoot

He cant do basically anything with the ball at his feet,

His terrible pass was what caused that second goal, wtf. I was complaining to my friends that i can swear ivanovic cant jog a ball more than 10 times. If he was a brazilian, he'll never play football. He's only good with his head and has strength.

The opposition have developed a tactics to let ivanovic have the ball and mark every other person. Fuck off

Don't blame him though, Mourinho needs to select Azpi on the right in games like these. It was infuriating how comfortable WBA were with Ivanovic having the ball, and it was also embarrassing how we always searched out for him.

Poor technique on his crosses.

I way Willian was crossing was something he can work on- low chips which rises in the air...very hard to defend. The Baggies defenders had a field day with Ivanovic with such crosses- no real intent.

Honestly, if we are going to give Ivanovic the ball and he's gonna cross it, we might as well just give the ball straight away to the opposition because eventually, they will get it anyway. All those crosses and/or passes won't find anyone but the defenders.

He can be a fine rightback (azpi is better) but that's only in the defensive side. He must not attack such a bad crosser.
