I'm of the naive pool of people who believe we should retain our best players ahead of profit. That being said I'm concious of the fact Real would want someone like Ivanovic, so £12million is a ridiculous sum, but realistic because this club doesn't do high-profile sales.

I am very sad for him beacause he was very good player for us for whole season. He always work hard, leave a heart on the pitch, did amazing work for us, and he really deserves to be in the final match squad... he is probably so dissapointed that he didnt make it... that he cant help the team in a such important game... When Geoff Shreeves told him that he wouldnt play in Munich he looks like he just lose footing...
