They are bin-ing him because he wants to leave and they are trying to cash in on him.

Well, his options are leaving to us with a 1/2 pay cut or leaving to U21 team, so not really a hot market here. His contract is valid until 2026, so if he was worth his salary there shouldn't be a problem to pay it, win everything and try again next window for big money I guess.

To chase a striker all summer, know it’s the main thing the side has needed for years, and to end up with only Sancho on loan today would be crazy.

It’ll be good that the club didn’t panic and buy some scrub, but still. A long term injury to Nico Jackson and we’re relying on an 18 year old, super raw Guiu and an array of false 9 experiments.

Have we? It has been a half hearted search at best. Now we're seeing if we can pick up a good deal on deadline day. Club clearly doesn't think it is priority / urgent. Just nice if we can get a good deal.

Yes, I do genuinely think we’ve been planning for a striker this whole time but wanted to leave it late hoping the selling clubs would be pressured to do a deal on our terms. But as we now see that could backfire spectacularly.

Obviously Chelsea sources are going to say its a good offer. They said the same about the offers to Mount & Gallagher too which were 1 and 2 year deals. Probably said the same about every other player who has declined offers here too.

I quite believe we have offered the £130k p/w believing it to be a very good offer too. Without a shadow of a doubt…. If you were OshimenC you wouldn’t think we were that desperate to sign you with an offer like that. Piss take.

Just give him £170-200k p/w and get it fucking done. We have lowered the average wage to 70k across the board one big signing isn’t going to bankrupt us or cause any huge issues fuck sake.

Sancho on loan as well - stop fucking about. Dont need him. Try to offload some players instead of signing another winger.

We should get out of there and leave ADL with both Lukaku and Osimhen.

I know Conte fixed his hair but he will be bald again very soon.

I’ve given up. No striker today.

I'm very confident that we will score plenty of goals against inferior team this season with the players we have. Whether we can against the top teams will be the big question. Osimhen being a beast in the air and in the box when you need a crucial goal would’ve helped us against big teams, I think.
