Leao, Gvardiol, Bellingham, Haaland, Kvara, type of players.

Starting last summer when we still had CL.

If we presented serious project under new owners we could probably bag one or two at least with the amount we spent.

To be honest we did bag a couple in Enzo and Caicedo, also Levi is good alternative to Gvardiol. The big miss was going for that fraud Mudryk instead of Leao.

Enzo alright, he is probably only signing Im happy we made along Jackson and Nkunku. He is pure quality along with James, then Chilly, Thiago. Colvill and Jackson have massive upside. Nkunku is class to but maybe injury prone like James.

Rest has to prove alot and more for the money we spent. Caicedo and Lavia included. Mudryk was a flop signed just so Arsenal didnt get him. Cucurella should never happen and we should stay away. We already have first choice Chilwell, Cucu isnt CB and was too expensive for backup. Gvardiol could be here instead of Fofana. Fofana is nice player but if injured all the time, we threw 80m out the window yet again.

The only two truly WC (atm) wingers out there for next summer are (this is also saying Mbappe is a pipe dream, and Chiesa and Oyarzabal are coming off horrid injuries)

Rafael Leão
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

simple as that

Leroy Sané turns 29yo in the middle of next season, so pass

Kingsley Coman is only 5 months younger than Sane, so pass

Serge Gnabry, is older than either of them, he turns 30 a month or so after next season ends, so pass

Ousmane Dembélé is now off the board, likely for good (he turn 27 this season and will very likely be at PSG for the rest of his sub 30yo years)

so it is down (if we fail on Rafael Leão and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia) to the young ones with the most potential atm (barring Federico Chiesa or Oyarzabel blowing up again back to their  pre injuries WC levels)

Karim Adeyemi
Yéremy Pino

Michael Olise  (but he likely will not leave Palace for several years now)
Bryan Mbeumo
Kaoru Mitoma (BUT he turns 27 towards the end of this season)
Pedro Gonçalves
Nico Williams
Nicolás González

Marcus Edwards
Viktor Tsygankov
Amine Adli
Ismaïla Sarr
Bradley Barcola (may well be on PSG this season)
Samuel Lino
Crysencio Summerville
Johan Bakayoko
Andreas Schjelderup
Julien Duranville

Joao Felix is stuck in limbo and it's Barcelona or bust for the unwanted Atletico Madrid man and Saudi Arabia could be his only option once Europe's window shuts

PSG have the edge over Chelsea for Barcola

Bradley Barcola’s situation continues to attract speculation, but, to be honest, I do not think Chelsea stand much of a chance as long as PSG are in the race for him. The Lyon man has been clear that a Paris move interests him and he is the last remaining major target for Campos this window along with Kolo Muani. To land both would be a game changer and Hugo Ekitike potentially moving on with both Frankfurt and West Ham keen hints at how PSG entire attacking stable would be reset by both players joining this month.

Chelsea is not unattractive to Barcola, especially with former teammate Malo Gusto already there, but the pathway to a clear and defined role at Parc des Princes has already been laid out to him and Ligue 1 keeps him developing without too big a jump in demands.

Should PSG’s interest fail to concretise, then a London switch might be considered but it is not currently the priority. Also, a potential loan move to Strasbourg is unlikely to appeal given Lyon’s situation is fairly similar while PSG can also offer continental competition now.

Elye Wahi made the right choice with surprise Lens move

Elye Wahi made a move that took everyone slightly by surprise as he made the switch from Montpellier to Lens after links with a number of other top clubs around Europe.

Still, I think it is a great move for the player and club. Lens were closing on Chuba Akpom before he favoured Ajax and that was a bit of a blow so this was a nice pivot to sign a player in Wahi who needed the step up in level with European experience for a club who needed to replace a major source of goals in Lois Openda.

Wahi has shown that he can score regularly in Ligue 1 and will now get a taste for Europe while Lens can further develop a player who is already being watched by Europe’s top clubs. It is a better fit than being loaned to Strasbourg so it is little surprise to see Wahi jumping at the opportunity and it us also heartening to see such a significant deal done between French clubs which are not PSG.

Frankfurt will likely continue to pursue Ekitike and Chelsea had Wahi as one for the future and not now which was perfect for Lens who will make him an immediate starter across all competitions.

What “clear and defined role” would he have at PSG with Mbappe and Dembele there? Maybe next year when Mbappe is gone.

could be a starter here considering mudryk is flopping hard and madueke is an average squad player

Angelo showed more in his few pre season cameos than Mudryk has in his whole time at the club.

Madueke is dross.

Bradley Barcola swap deal latest

I’ve mentioned Bradley Barcola many times this summer and I’m going to start with him again today. PSG have always been interested in this top talent and they have an agreement with the player, he wants to go to PSG, but there is a crucial point - there is no agreement between the clubs.

As I reported yesterday, it’s getting tense between PSG and Lyon on these negotiations. It’s also the reality that Chelsea have asked for information on Barcola, without submitting an official bid. What I’m hearing now is that Lyon, more than big money, want players to be included in the deal. Of course a fee will be needed as well, but they believe they can take advantage of these negotiations by including players in the deal. This is going to be a crucial factor, but it’s not easy to find players from Chelsea or PSG who would accept that kind of move. Still, Lyon will try to find a solution, so keep an eye on this story.

Hugo Ekitike was one name discussed but he doesn’t want to join Lyon, he prefers a move to the Premier League. Let’s see if PSG will try again, or if Chelsea will really strongly enter into the race as they haven’t yet.

well, he would instantly be their 3rd best winger IMHO

and would often start if Mbappe plays as a CF and/or Dembele doesn't play
