Cavani remains Chelsea's priority target, but they need Atletico (who are yet to make a second offer) talks to break down. Piatek keen on Spurs. Chelsea have made no moves for Piatek or Jovic yet, the latter is keen to stay at Madrid, club don't have him available.

Spurs have just paid 55M for Lo Celso:lol:

I haven't watched their recent matches but from what I'm seeing on Twitter he's apparently been their best player lately. Still, big price.

I think for Cavani it is like this:

1) Go to Atletico

2) Chelsea

3) Stay in PSG

So him coming here depends on Atletico and PSG making a deal.

What can we do about this if we are smart?

Marina calls Leonardo: Hey Leo, I heard you guys are interested in Kante?

Leo: Sure...

MG: As we are in Cavani.

Leo: But he wants Atletico only.

MG: As Chelsea fans want me out hahahaha...  Listen Leo, do not sell him to Atletico, loan him to us and we will put you in front position for Kante in the summer, you know Real and Juve also want him.

Leo: Hmmm, ok thanks, I will see what I can do...

Simple as that...

with our club though, even with zero rumours beforehand, the possibility of a deadline day signing is always there.  We have done lately.

The options are thinning though, Cavani to Atletico will happen, lets be honest.  Jovic - I'd be stunned if Madrid let him out on loan.  Piatek to Spurs is nailed on

Or, the club are waiting to see if Giroud leaves first.  If he stays, we do nothing.  Right now, im not sure Inter are that desperate to take him

We're definitely one of the most difficult clubs for media to speculate on because we're a pretty closed shop when it comes to things like that which is why deals such as Kepa and Pulisic came out of the blue with barely any speculation beforehand.

If the club want to bring someone in I'm sure they have targets in mind and lined up to rubber stamp before the deadline. I just hope that they are either absolutely sure about it and Lampard is 100% in if it's a permanent transfer, otherwise hopefully it'll just be something temporary to see us through until the end of the season.

I'm starting to believe we are waiting to see what happens with Giroud. If/when he goes i think you'll see us move.  If he stays, i dont think we'll bother

I personally think we are stalling with giroud until we get a target over the line. I believe we will nab cavani honestly
