Yep, Sarr is coming back, AA to Strasbourg and probably lose Jacket Potato to Liverpool

So all in all, we won't be buying anyone we are just ripping the life out of Strasbourg

and why jacquet to liverpool? Maybe we can get him

Hopefully Anselmino stays fit the rest of the season. Strasbourg could be great for his development if he does. Having another Argentine there in Barco should help him settle I would think.

Then they can both come over to Chelsea in the summer. 👍🏼

🔵🗯Chelsea made an offer of £25m for Nantes defender Tylel Tati. They rejected this initial approach. Chelsea wanted to loan him back. A deal is unlikely to happen due to time constraints before the transfer window closes this Monday.

rip jacquet

So it seems like Jacquet is totally off the table for this window so both ourselves and Liverpool are going for short term stopgaps at CB and battling to sign JJ over the next 24 hours to come in the summer.

Liverpool will be much more desperate for a CB than we are with VVD declining and old + Konate possibly leaving on a free. So they’ll surely blow our wage offer out of the water. So I guess this could come down to how true those reports of him “only wanting Chelsea” are.

So the plan seems to be:

 - Anselmino to Strasbourg to replace Sarr, who in turn comes to us now.

 - Chelsea pursue a deal for Jeremy Jacquet, ideally now, but for the summer if need be (which I think will happen when the deadline gets closer).

Disasi, Badiashile, Chalobah and Tosin to be put up for sale (Disasi now, remainder in summer).

Colwill to return to the pitch before the end of the season, leaving their 'ideal' options as Colwill, Fofana, Sarr, Jacquet, Acheampong(?), even Tati from Nantes has come into the news today.

Have to say, that's a strong CB pairing/depth.

IDK if we try to sell chalobah but the others three I hope they be gone in the summer

Chalobah is the picture perfect Chelsea squad player. Good enough to regularly start games for us but not quite PL title challenging level. There’s no way we should be selling him but I wouldn’t be shocked if the directors decide to due to the sanctions fucking us over. They may see him as a big chunk of pure profit that’s too good to turn down since we have ready made replacements already on our books in Sarr, Josh, and Anselmino.

So yes, I can picture Trev, Tosin, Badiashile, and Disasi all going and our sporting director’s ideal CB pairing or group of 3 being Jacquet & Colwill or Jacquet & Fofana or all 3 together.

All depends on the wages we offer Jacquet I guess.

🗯W.Fofana will be arriving in Marseille in the foreseeable future; he is still here because his transfer fee was too high.

It could happen in the summer before he gets injured again and is sidelined for a long time.

🔵️ Wesley Fofana: "Olympique Marseille... we'll see one day."

"I still have a contract until 2029, we'll see. Marseille is my city, my club, I am an OM supporter."

Yes I think he is gone one day to Marseille

For him, he can go. He is a good player but too much injury prone and if we can get a good money for him, we can sell him

the truth is that he only has 25 years old ,so he is young, so we can demand a lof of money and I really have doubt that Marseille can afford him

Thing is we paid such a monster amount for Fofana that he’d count as a massive loss on the books, right? We ain’t getting a gigantic fee from Marseille for him.

So that’s why instead I think it’ll be Trev that’s sacrificed because being homegrown he’s pure profit. Getting £10-20m for Tosin who we signed for free will also be easy profit.
