Uproot Anselmino from Germany midseason where he was happy and then dropping him in yet another country as a makeweight. Just treating human beings as chess pieces moving around a board. I’ve seen this kid’s name before but have never really seen him play. After just watching some highlights I’m kind of shocked by how impressed I am. He looks class on the ball and like a tiger without the ball in typical Argentine fashion despite his small size. Looks very well suited to the PL. mkh

Chelsea had him on their radar even before he moved to Brighton. After his move to Racing Strasbourg, where he was given a new chance by Sam Jewell, he was initially used as a left-back in the first few games, before Liam Rosenior moved him to central midfield. He is really flourishing there, playing deadly passes with great vision, very spirited, a real fighter with great technique. He's a bit taller than Marco Veratti, but Barco's playing style and temperament remind me completely of Veratti! Small guy with huge aggression and also silky technique on the ball with a great ability to pass between the lines. Could be a super smart alternative in the summer to Anderson or Wharton. mkh, Strike, Vesper and 1 other 3

That if we are to continue with this trading of players and managers between clubs then it makes sense we get a manager from their, like Liam. And then in the future if Gary does good in Strasbourg brinng him to keep the continuity. If they pull this good and without much fuss as in France they are hating this, they can build something really good. mkh
