Special Juan 28,194
The statement from Romano is very key, he stated negotiations are very advanced between us and Leipzig, that's the main thing the club to club talks and now they are very advanced this could be done within the next few days. Tbf, that’s what he and others have been saying for 2 weeks. “Talks advanced.” The big change now is Xavi taking things into his own hands and sitting out training. He’s desperate to come here. We have to hope now that things get pushed more strongly from our side and that 1) Xavi skipping training doesn’t piss Leipzig off and 2) Newcastle/Man United bidding for Sesko doesn’t complicate things. Pizy 18,995
Looks like Simons and Sesko have done the same thing. Pulled out of the Leipzig squad to try to push through a move.
DH1988 1,353
Not overly fussed if we don’t get Simons, although looks like it’ll get done. Not that I’ve watched every RB game, either. Just strikes me as a Sancho, all the ability but slows play down even though he has pace. It’s a shame about Sancho as well, willing to lower his wages to go back to Dortmund but started off on a pedestal in negotiations with us and wouldn’t take £180k a week - Btw nor am I saying he should if he’s on £300k with years to burn. Sancho was finding his place in the team even if he was frustrating at times, most times, he looked to be learning toward the end.

Mhsc 1,109
Pretty explicit that he's on his way. Honesty I'm a cynical fucker about players coming from Bundesliga so I'll just sit tight and watch how Gittens and Simons do in PL, hoping for the best but intuitively I would expect they'll prove to be helpful squad players but nothing more. Edit: snap, The Hulk posted the same quote at the same time :) Edited August 2 by Mhsc

Pizy 18,995
I don’t have much doubt or worry about Xavi taking to the PL for a couple of reasons. Firstly, his technical ability is superb. Excellent dribbler, excellent at receiving the ball under pressure, and is just generally very tidy. And secondly, he isn’t one of those attacking players who only fancy doing the fun stuff going forward. He gets stuck in and seems to like the physical side as well. He just doesn’t striker me as the sort of player who’s going to come to the PL and be overwhelmed by the step up. He seems pretty tailor made to it in fact. Loyalblue 4
Some of the fees quoted here for our players are really laughable. Clubs will never pay huge sums for players that are perceived at having failed with their current club but maybe could still do a job for them but at their prices. Nkunku for example maximum we can accept is probably 20m and Broja as his still young probably 10m maybe 15m if we get lucky. Noone even wants most of the other outcasts. We just sold broja for a reported 20m, we sold felix for 40m, and your saying nkunku is only worth 20m? Blue Armour

Last season he got 10 goals and 7 assists in 25 league appearances, whilst in 23/24 he got 8 goals and 11 assists in 32 league appearances. So that shows he has a eye or goal and can create too. Also his shooting from long range is very good. Palmer can do it here and there but Simons is the only one really, if he was to join who can hit rockets. Bluepower777 37
He probably got the info from the fact that Felix has gone to an oil rich country where the difference in millions is petty cash for them, thats the only place we will get 40m for Nkunku. Anyway we see what transpires. Edited August 2 by Bluepower777 Spelling

You would eventually get done to as close as the size of a single toponium particle (the smallest known composite particles), and even closer, but never actual arrive at 'done'. In their search for more flavors of Higgs bosons, a team of researchers at CERN stumbled across what could be evidence of the smallest matter-antimatter particle ever. The hypothetical particle, known as toponium, would be the result of merging a top quark and antiquark as well as the last missing example of quark-antiquark states known as quarkonium. Toponium particles, at least in theory, do not annihilate each other almost but instantly decay into a bottom quark and a W boson—one of two bosons responsible for the weak nuclear force. I know someone with these numbers in Bundesliga: 18/19: 34 appearances 12 goals 14 assists 19/20: 32 app 18g 16a 20/21: 26 app 8g 11a How that ended? Not indicating anything. I hope Xavi smash it here.
