Duppy Conqueror 1,584
Writing was on the wall at the CWC for George when Nkunku was selected so much ahead of him, then all the transfer activity.it's a shame, sad and no doubts he'll be a success elsewhere.atleast we got alot of talent coming through at his positions so shouldn't devestate us..also with only 2 years left on conteact we don't have much wiggle room. I don't see the links to Garnacho as being the main reason, more the straw that broke the camels back due to other current and future incoming. George is good, will be atleast good, probably more but Acheampong is the Cobham crown jewel that losing him would really piss me off. mkh 759
Marc Guiu’s flight was postponed today, but that doesn’t mean the deal is dead. The agreement is still in place, and there is an expectation that the striker will finalize his move to Sunderland on loan for the season. mkh 759
@JacobsBen: Darwin Nunez remains an option for Al-Hilal. Internal talks taking place over whether to approach Liverpool with key input from Simone Inzaghi first. Liverpool valuation informed by a €70m offer turned down in January from Al-Nassr. €70M for fucking floping Darwin Nunez😵😵

(@SkySports_Keith) When it's for games the saving a few hours travel makes some sense.but for a transfer I wouldn't risk getting in the skies for. From someone that spends a yearly average of about 400 hours In the sky.i still wouldn't risk it for a domestic flight in England. lluubbeenn 188
I don’t get the inflated fees from Saudi for surplus players. I understand why they have to offer high salaries, but why give Liverpool say 70 mil for Nunez. Nobody else will give them 50. Even if they have all the money in the world, what is the point of wasting them this way?
NikkiCFC 8,516
Is it too much to ask for shirt sponsor for a change? Now we are in Champions League plus World Champions, can't be that difficult. Reports saying now we want 60m per season. Infinite Athlete and Three were both 40m. Vesper and Blue Armour

If we start with the sealing of the contract being 30 days away, and reduce that time by half every day then, if my calculus is up to it, we would run into the Planck time in something a few days over 5 months. At that point, in the human frame of reference, the incompleteness of the deal will be totally indistinguishable from its completion. In human experience the deal will be done. In reality, even before we get to the Planck time, humans would experience the deal as having been completed. 🙂 Got a computer to check it and I didn't do too badly. It would take about five and a half months to reach the Planck time. In reality though the deal would be under a second away from completion, 3 weeks after we started. At that point I think we could dispense with the rest of the journey to the Plank time. 🙂🙂 Edited August 3, 2025 by OhForAGreavsie

Just that Inter could be interested if Lookman fell through. But now Lookman has put in a transfer request and put pressure on Atalanta so I assume that gets done. Wonder if he’d agree to return to Leipzig. If I'm remembering correctly there was a post earlier in this thread claiming that Leipzig are not interested.
