City's business is getting pretty big for a January window - as much as they do need fresh blood, I wonder if this is before a potential transfer ban or something... Get the shopping in while you can.

Chelsea contact with Manchester United for Garnacho TODAY, more will follow.

Garnacho price currently requested : €70m. (£59m).

This is happening isn’t it.

It’s not that he’s a bad player, whenever i’ve watched United he has always stood out to me… it’s more that he is a player we don’t fucking need. We need a striker desperately..  and now another CM given Lavias injury woes.

It seems that way. More money being thrown away for little reason (I'd imagine there's some truth in the Mudryk termination rumours).

There's no shot we go for another CM with Lesley & Santos out on loan.

Garnacho is a fine player - but yeah - like others have said he isn't a need if you look at the team.

It was a good move getting Trev back for as much as people want to slag management. They admit their mistakes quickly, and get it done. We are still having failures, but we fail fast and get better.

A far better GKer would have very likely made those saves AND also NOT made so many shit errors (which are so not limited to just ones that directly led to opposition goals).

This is the point. All top level goalkeepers are good shot stoppers. It's an entry level skill. It's not that being good at it gets you the gig, it's that not being good at it rules you out of contention.

I agree with him.

Its easy to have blinders on after a bad keeping display - but even recently he has saved us more than he has hurt us.

Again - I don't think he is the long term answer, but he hasn't been nearly as bad as people make out.

You can make spellbinding saves, but if you pair that with mistakes in every other game, like Sanchez does, that's inexcusable. A lot of it is unforced too, with his wayward passing.

I don't mind him as a squad player, but the impression I get from the higher ups and Maresca himself, is that Sanchez is going to be the number 1 for years to come.

They haven't signed a single keeper with real potential to displace him. Making him out to be the best of a bad lot isn't the way to go.
