It's 2 years difference between them. One has 49 goals other 2. We cannot know if Washington is better prospect but I do hope he ends up better because he is ours.

Nkunku and fofana shouldnt be counted

So we have a 25 man squad

Had we sold/loaned cucu and chalobah i would have been extremely happy with a trimmed 23 man squad

Humphreys loan looks a good level for him. He can challenge Badiashile/Colwill or grow in value and be sold for Guehi/Tomori money in future.

Here's an article from Ornstein for the Athletic when Maatsen first joined Burnley on loan last year:

It says the club hold an option to extend Maatsen till 2025 so no panic there.

If Poch truly means what he preaches each week, i never want to see Cucu starting ahead of Maatsen again. Maatsen is clearly better already and CHOSE to stay, while Cucu was ready to leave
