Liked Martinelli and that's about it today. Antony had ups and downs, but Raphinha was a huge improvement when he came on. Daniel Alves must be a joke -- guy is not even playing professional football anymore.

Disappointment were Jesus (quiet) as well as both Fred (as usual) and Bruno Guimaraes (surprising) when he replaced Fred. Both wasteful in possession and in front of the goal (esp Bruno). Pool's Fabinho was a huge downgrade from Casemiro eh.

I disagree.

It sucks but teams have to look after their own interests first and foremost, they've done their jobs and it's not their fault the others haven't.

I don't blame teams for doing that. But we need better system. And don't care for these teams but for example if Uruguay played Portugal today and Portugal:Korea was in 2nd round Uruguay would go through. 

And if Serbia played draw today for example with Switzerland, Cameron would go through even tho they were clearly the worst team in the group. Why? Because they were scheduled to play Brazil reserves in the last round. So teams that are scheduled to play best teams in the last round have big advantage cause all France, Portugal, Brazil played reserves.

No one got 3 wins and only England, Morocco and Netherlands unbeaten so far and none of them have looked world beaters.

Felt like France, Brazil are stronger than the others and fielded a completely changed XI in the final game

Considering no team has looked like the standout so far, I'd say Japan vs Croatia, Morocco vs Spain and Portugal vs Switzerland will be quite interesting to watch.  

The other last 16 ties look quite simple for the stronger side (on paper)...
