hope they are registered in a different category or something like Loans, surely if they have a recall element of the loan deal, it would be okay for the whole 25 squad thing as long as they are home grown, which both Mancienne and Cork are?

hope they are registered in a different category or something like Loans, surely if they have a recall element of the loan deal, it would be okay for the whole 25 squad thing as long as they are home grown, which both Mancienne and Cork are?

Exceptional Circumstances

The 25-man squads must be submitted to the Premier League by 5pm on the day following the close of each transfer window. For the 2010/11 season the first window will close at 6pm on 31st August and final squads must be registered by 5pm on 1st September. Before then Clubs will not be required to name their squads and may select their teams from any registered players.

While the transfer windows are open, clubs may change their squads as many times as they want. However they will only be able to make alterations outside the windows if there are exceptional circumstances and the changes are approved by the Premier League board.

For example, if a club has two out of three goalkeepers injured they may be permitted to bring in a replacement under the guidelines drawn up by a specially formed working party.

Players in the 25-man squads who go out on loan to Football League clubs may not be replaced. However they may reclaim their place on their return.

Clubs do not have to name a full squad of 25 if they do not have that many contracted players and in this instance they may add free agents outside the transfer window. However if they have 25 eligible contracted players, they must be named.

Similarly, clubs do not have to name eight home grown players if they do not have that many but that would mean operating with a reduced squad.

The system will be simple enough to administer. Clubs will register their players via an online form which automatically flags up if they have named too many players who do not qualify as Home-Grown.

I guess this is a time for CA to motivate the team get Bruma confident of taking on Premier League opposition , the main worry is not playing bruma as a CB as he has had a full cap for holland so they must rate him its more if ivan gets another yellow against bham.

John Terry to see Italian specialist over leg injury

John Terry has flown to Italy with Chelsea's club doctor to see a specialist about his mystery leg injury, BBC Sport understands.

The England defender, 29, has been struggling with a nerve problem in his right leg which could keep him on the sidelines for months.

So far no-one has been able to identify what is wrong with the centre-back.

Terry is understood to have flown out to Italy with Chelsea doctor Bryan English on Wednesday morning.

The injury forced Terry to miss Sunday's 3-0 defeat by Sunderland and he also pulled out of England's friendly against France on Wednesday.

A Chelsea source told BBC Sport on Tuesday: "It could be months [until he's fit], although that's the pessimistic view. We don't know the root of the pain.

"He can't keep struggling, so he has to get to the source of the problem."

Terry's fellow-centre-back Alex has been ruled out for up to two months.

Chelsea revealed that the Brazilian will be out for "approximately six to eight weeks" to undergo exploratory arthroscopic surgery on his injured knee in the coming days.

Having already missed the club's matches against Fulham and Sunderland, Alex withdrew from the Brazil squad for Wednesday's friendly with Argentina.
