TopDrog 119
One Word...Legend!The one football player I'd love to be if I could. His style of play, grace and the way he carried himself off and on the pitch. Still remember him getting injured by boateng in that fa cup semi meaning that he missed the final and the world cup that year, summed up his career really! Madmax 9,219
Haha I remember calling him a Chelsea legend on here a few days after I'd joined last year and I got a lot of flak for it. Bally is a simply superb footballer and a great man off the pitch as well. I hate that in a career as stellar as his, he hasn't won more. So unlucky to finish not one but two seasons as runner-up in 3 trophies each. Also wish he'd gotten 100 caps with Germany. Hopefully he'll be fit and available for the CL games especially the one at the Bridge. Deserves a massive reception and a standing ovation from the fans for what he brought to the club. You can see he still loves Chelsea, he's got nothing put good things to say about us. Maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't begrudge him a goal either. zolayes

Cosmin 2,484
I miss Ballack too. I remember his penalty kick goal against Werder Bremen at the Bridge. Amazing. He's coming back, I hope the crowd will give him a well deserved standing ovation. zolayes, BlueLion. and Madmax

Ollie 4,400
Gonna be great to see him back at the bridge for a proper send off from us. Such a solid performer and had such pride in what he did. Essien, Lampard, Ballack.... What a tough midfield that was to get through at their peak. zolayes 14,489
Good to see he is playing again after that bad injury. He provided the stabilty to our midfield, Ironically on here he was criticised for slowingour play down. Will get a great welcome at the Bridge though. Rubber bullets 1,183
We really are a pathetic club if we are going to give some great epic standing ovation to someone who was nothing more then a giant paperweight on the pitch most of the time and only seemed useful for marketing ploys for adidas. Great player when he was in Gemrany but was one of the most overhyped and underwhelming performers in a Chelsea shirt. It wouldn't be so bad if everyone didn't see him as some sort of club legend. Fulham Broadway 17,317
Fantastic signing that Real Madrid, Man Utd, AC Milan all wanted and...... we got him on a free !!Started slow (bit like Fernando the Wonderhorse), but scored some really vital goals later on -the 2-1 win over Yernited and against Blackbum to get to the FA Cup final spring to mind. Beset with injuries several times led to erratic perception.Could really do with his physical presence now....
