Heisenberg 1,824
Stats stats stats....Gonzalo Higuain had only one very good season, under Pellegrini, he isnt a top player and we wont go to the Champions League final with him as a striker. He is the perfect goal poacher, we don t need a poacher, we need a complete striker a la Drogba. IkE 267
I really hope that Higuain is not our last hope, as I'll rather to play with the LadyBoy upfront for the whole season and spend hard on young talents for the future.PS: Muriel (Udinese), Arnautovic (Bremen) or Rodrigo (Benfica)
IkE 267
He said he was leaving before Carlo even took the job.He already knew he was about to be kicked... he always said to stay in Madrid.
Toli 977
You can't compare Higuain's statistics to that of a normal striker. He's playing on a team where Ronaldo takes 7 shots a game and the entire team is built around getting Ronaldo shots. In the two games for example, against Dortmund, Higuain took a combined 1 shot. Ronaldo took 11. How he'd do in a normal system as a striker? I think he'd be a good player (but not worth 30M or anything). you cant compare him also, because beside Barca, all teams in the PD are 1,2,3 levels behind Madrid and if at normal form, madrid destroys them for fun. higuain has been awful nearly in all games against decent teams. he is a good striker, nothing more. also after his back injury, he has lost his pace and fitness. he would be better than Ba and Torres (but thats not that hard tbh) but he wouldnt be the world-class striker we are searching for. should've bought Gomez for 20 m instead of him for 40. its no coincidence that no team really makes affords towards him and Arsenal meanwhile tries to sign Suarez for example or Rooney.Arnautovic? this has to be joke. rodrigo? you know we have lukaku, do you?I agree with your opinion on Higu, but you are clearly wrong with the situation. he DID want to leave already last season, but the fans, team and Mourinho convinced him to stay. now he got critcized again and wants finally to leave. Perez already said he doesent wants to sell him.

Merih 10
This rumor doesn't make sense with our dealings the past two summers. We've shown in the Hulk saga, the Modric saga, both Falcao sagas, and the Cavani saga that we are not interested in splashing out ridiculous sums of cash for players - nothing more than what we think they are worth. We bid what we think they are worth, maybe a touch more, and that's it. Want more money you are free to go to the Monaco's and Zenit's and PSG of the world.I think the club are trying to set precedent that the days of us being twisted for way more than the player's worth are over. laeth 527
We won't go for Higuain as he doesn't do as Mou suggested he wants in his striker (coming deep, almost to a number 10 position and working around the box) - it's why he preferred Benzema at Madrid I imagine.
